Job Description

Project Manager

AcuityMD is a software and data platform that accelerates access to medical technologies. We help MedTech companies understand how their products are used, why customers vary, and identify opportunities for physicians to better serve their patients. Each year, the FDA approves ~6,000 new medical devices. Our platform helps MedTech companies get these products to physicians more effectively so they can improve patient care with the latest technology. We're backed by Benchmark, Redpoint, ICONIQ Growth, and Ajax Health.

In this role, you will lead customer implementation projects from kickoff to go-live, ensuring every new customer is set up for success. You will do this by managing timelines, coordinating cross-functional resources, mitigating risks, and delivering an exceptional onboarding experience that positions customers to achieve their business goals.

Team Mission

The Professional Services team’s mission is to deliver a superior implementation experience to our customers, enabling them to focus on what matters most. We have developed a point of view based on our experience implementing hundreds of customers, which we leverage to ensure every new customer is well positioned to succeed. We maintain a culture of continuous improvement and approach every customer interaction as a partner, collaborating with them to ensure they are well positioned to achieve their business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Lead multiple customer implementation projects simultaneously, managing scope, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers during onboarding, ensuring clear communication and strong relationship-building.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, tracking progress and proactively resolving issues before they impact timelines.
  • Coordinate across internal teams — including Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Sales — to ensure a seamless onboarding process.
  • Facilitate customer training and enablement sessions to ensure adoption and long-term success with the AcuityMD platform.
  • Continuously assess and improve our implementation methodology, incorporating best practices and lessons learned.
  • Provide regular status updates to both internal stakeholders and customers, ensuring transparency and alignment.

Your Profile

  • 4+ years of project management or professional services experience, preferably within a SaaS or technology company.
  • Proven track record of managing customer-facing projects from kickoff to completion.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with a focus on customer success.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with technical and business teams.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Asana, Jira, Smartsheet).
  • Ability to anticipate challenges, manage risks, and solve problems effectively.

Nice to Haves

  • Experience in MedTech, healthcare, or other regulated industries.
  • PMP, CSM, or other relevant project management certifications.
  • Familiarity with change management practices.

AcuityMD is committed to providing highly competitive cash compensation, equity, and benefits. The compensation offered for this role will be based on multiple factors such as location, the role’s scope and complexity, and the candidate’s experience and expertise, market data and may vary from the range provided. Safe Remote Job Search Tips

Verify Employer Thoroughly

Research the company's identity thoroughly before applying. Check for a professional website with contacts, active social media, and LinkedIn profiles. Verify details across platforms and look for reviews on Glassdoor or Trustpilot to confirm legitimacy.

Never Pay to Get a Job

Legitimate employers never require payment for applications, training, background checks, or equipment. Always reject upfront payment requests or demands for bank details, even if they claim it's for purchasing necessary work gear on your behalf.

Safeguard Your Personal Information

Protect sensitive data like SSN, bank details, or ID copies. Share this only after accepting a formal, written job offer. Ensure it's submitted via a secure company system or portal, never through insecure channels like standard email attachments.

Scrutinize Communication & Interviews

Watch for communication red flags: poor grammar, generic emails (@gmail), vague details, or undue pressure. Be highly suspicious of interviews held only via text or chat apps; legitimate companies typically use video or phone calls.

Beware of Unrealistic Offers

If an offer's salary or benefits seem unrealistically high for the work involved, be cautious. Research standard pay for similar roles. Offers that appear 'too good to be true' are often scams designed to lure you into providing information or payment.

Insist on a Formal Contract

Always secure and review a formal, written job offer or employment contract before starting work or sharing final personal details. Ensure it clearly defines your role, compensation, key terms, and conditions to avoid misunderstandings or scams.
