The Recruiter, Talent Acquisition will deliver high quality recruitment services against the needs of the business. This role is responsible for managing open requisitions, sourcing great talent and successfully filling positions. The position holder will develop a deep knowledge of the skills required for the open requisitions they are working on and build an expert knowledge of the local markets. The ideal candidate will possess detailed and advanced knowledge on how to hire candidates for the business units they support be able to deliver outcomes against a hiring plan.

Key Responsibilities:

Talent Pool Development:
  • Identifies and manages talent pools for current and future positions. Uses resources effectively to manage talent pipelines across various functions and geographies. Monitor and guide team members on effectives talent pool tactics.
  • Use market intelligence and data-driven approaches to forecast and meet future talent needs.
Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Collaborate with hiring managers across departments to understand workforce needs and provide strategic talent acquisition solutions.
  • Establish regular updates and data on hiring progress and challenges to constantly improves talent acquisition services.
Candidate Experience:
  • Work with Recruiter team members to ensure that candidate experience is at the forefront of how we behave.
  • Monitor and review candidate disposition activities to ensure all candidates receive feedback.
  • Ensure the quality of the feedback provided is high quality and relevant to the candidates' circumstances.
Data quality (ATS):
  • Manages and monitors the quality of ATS data of the team. Works with Manager, Global Talent Acquisition and the TA Operations Lead to execute. Understands and drives Recruiter behaviours to ensure key data fields are completed and are accurate.
Requisition Intake Meetings:
  • Able to organise and run requisition intake meetings with hiring managers. Accurately capturing the key aspects of the position to be filled and agreeing on a set of skills to screen for.
  • Provide advice and guidance on market conditions, likely candidate backgrounds and any challenges that may be encountered
  • Sets the sourcing strategy and timelines with the hiring manage
  • Agrees interview loops, interviewer lists and sets aside dedicated time in the hiring managers diary to conduct interviews
  • Agrees on a requisition and candidates status update call schedule with the hiring manager
Candidate Screening:
  • Able to manage effective candidate screening calls to identify and validate competencies against the key skills required for each individual requisition
Job Postings:
  • Responsible for writing engaging job postings to attract candidates to apply. Uses approved job postings templates combined with the key attributes contained in the Job Description.
Offer Management:
  • Manages and negotiates effective offers with candidates to secure offer acceptance
  • Seeks assistance from Manager, Global Talent Acquisition if negotiations become difficult or a candidate rejects and offer.
Diversity & Inclusion:
  • Champion diversity and inclusion in talent acquisition, ensuring the organization attracts and hires a diverse range of candidates across all levels.
  • Focussing on hiring candidates who are representative of the market in which positions are located.
Technology & Innovation:
  • Work with the Manager, Global Talent Acquisition and the TA Operations Lead to leverage talent acquisition technologies and platforms to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Drive the adoption of new tools and innovative sourcing strategies with the Recruiters on the team.
Employer Branding:
  • Understands and evangelises the agreed Employer Branding strategy and EVP.
  • Embeds employer brand messaging into all aspects of the candidate experience including communications and the hiring process.
  • Identify effective strategies to market the employer brand to potential candidates.
Metrics & Data Analytics:
  • Understands and delivers against KPI’s set by the Manager, Global Talent Acquisition. Checks performance against KPI’s on a regular basis to keep on track. Raises any issues the Manager, Global Talent Acquisition if off track with KPI’s and/or needs to discuss supportive actions required to provide a remedy.
  • Understands and uses the ATS to monitor candidate pipelines and open requisition progress.
Compliance & Best Practices:
  • Ensure adherence to global talent acquisition best practices, legal requirements, and industry standards. Stay informed on labour laws, trends, and market conditions.
  • Seeks advice from Manager, Global Talent Acquistion if unsure about compliance, risk or best practices.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred – any discipline.
  • 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience with a focus on Datacenter infrastructure hiring in the U.S. and technical roles (e.g., software engineers, SREs, product managers, etc.)
  • Demonstrated success in hiring for data center, hardware, or mission-critical technical roles.
  • Solid demonstrable experience in in-house talent acquisition managing open requisitions in either a regional or global context.
  • Strong experience working within the technology sector, preferably in a scale up or mid-sized organisation.
  • Laser focussed on filling open requisitions.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and engage candidates at all levels.
  • Strong knowledge of applicant tracking systems (ATS), HR technologies, and social media talent acquisition platforms.
  • Deep commitment to diversity and inclusion with proven experience in driving these initiatives within talent acquisition.
  • Ability to use data and analytics to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
