THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
As Retention Marketing Manager you will play a critical role in helping Quince achieve its growth goals by growing revenue in our email, SMS, and push notification channels. You will combine your creative ideation with testing methodologies to engage customers and create clear, compelling conversion paths for them to follow. You will work closely with merchandising and brand marketing to prioritize a communication calendar that highlights key product launches and brand moments. You will own and optimize all campaign messaging to inspire Quince customers to purchase across the entire catalog.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Drive the campaign calendar, ideating on ways to position quince products and continuously test messaging to improve performance
- Align with the merchandising team to highlight key product launches and plan around stock levels
- Own merchandising and product curation in all of our campaign messaging to balance catalogue exposure and revenue performance
- Work with the creative and brand teams to develop beautifully designed and compelling messaging that adds value for the customer
- Own the creation and optimization of of all campaigns to ensure beautiful, consistent design and on-brand copy that speaks to the quality of our products
- Set up a multitude of tests across email, SMS, and push to drive statistically significant improvements in CTR and Revenue
- Work with the data science and engineering teams to create personalized messaging for each customer at scale using product recommendation algorithms
- Create a library of best-in-class messaging templates through consistent, rigorous testing to improve CTR, Rev per View, and Rev per Message
- Develop segmentation strategy and align marketing calendar to reach each segment with highly relevant messaging
REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience running email & SMS marketing programs across triggers, blast campaigns, and transactional messaging required
- Understanding of creative best practices for email design and copy
- Experience working with dynamic HTML email templates - ability to code basic HTML
- Understanding of how to architect statistically significant A/B tests
- Highly organized and able to drive cross functional alignment through clear and consistent communication
- Detail oriented and able to spot even the smallest anomalies or mistakes
- Analytical and data driven with demonstrated ability to work with large data sets
- Ability to manage competing priorities and requests coming from across the organization while maintaining excellent relationships
- Iterable and Looker experience preferred
- Deep knowledge of trends in fashion or home goods preferred
- Able to work during the hours of 3pm-6pm PST Monday-Friday
