This is a salaried, full-time W2 position that includes commission incentives. On Target Earnings per year: $125k- $225K

About the Role:
Sales Representative – Payments & BNPL
As a Sales Representative on the PSQ Payments Platform team, you’ll be at the forefront of growing our merchant network and driving adoption of PSQ Payments and Credova’s Buy Now, Pay Later solutions. This role calls for a strong sales foundation, solid relationship-building skills, and a working knowledge of payment processing and/or BNPL. You’ll partner directly with merchants to understand their needs, showcase our solutions, and support them through a smooth and successful onboarding experience.
This role is ideal for a motivated sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and is passionate about providing businesses with values-aligned payment solutions.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Identifying and engaging prospective merchants, educating them on PSQ Payments and BNPL solutions.
- Managing the full sales cycle, from prospecting and outreach to closing deals and onboarding merchants.
- Building strong relationships with merchants, understanding their needs, and providing tailored payment solutions.
- Collaborating with the merchant onboarding, enablement and technical teams to ensure a smooth setup and launch.
- Staying up to date on industry trends, competitive offerings, and regulatory changes in payments and BNPL.
- Maintaining accurate records of sales activities, pipeline, and merchant interactions in the CRM system.
- Achieving and exceeding sales targets while contributing to the overall growth of PublicSquare’s Fintech division.
Requirements & Preferred Experience
- 3-5 years of sales experience in the Payments, BNPL, or broader FinTech industry.
- Strong understanding of payment processing workflows and/or BNPL solutions.
- Proven success meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Customer-first mindset with a drive to help businesses grow through smart financial technology.
- Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Proficient with CRM tools and sales reporting processes.
- Familiarity with merchant onboarding, payment pricing, and transaction security.
- Experience working with e-commerce platforms like Shopify, BigCommerce, Magento, and WooCommerce.
- Comfortable discussing value propositions related to conversion optimization, average order value growth, and checkout experience.
