Due to our rapid growth, we are hiring our first ever SDR’s in Costa Rica to help support our Sales Development efforts globally. This is an exciting opportunity to be one of the first individuals at a rapidly growing startup to help drive processes on a global scale. As an SDR, you will be at the forefront of our sales operations, helping us connect with prospective customers and generating qualified leads for our Sales team.If you are passionate about sales operations, optimizing processes, and supporting a high-performance team, we’d love to meet you!
About the role:
In this role, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence within the sales development process. You will help streamline inbound and outbound lead generation efforts while ensuring our sales systems and workflows run smoothly. By leveraging your organizational and analytical skills, you will help ensure that our sales team is equipped with the right tools and insights to close more deals and scale effectively. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about sales operations, data management, and process improvement.
In this role, you can expect to:
- Lead Qualification & Handoff: Qualify inbound leads and effectively manage outbound outreach, ensuring smooth handoffs of qualified leads to Sales Directors and Account Executives.
- Sales Tool Management: Ensure our CRM (e.g., Salesforce) and other sales tools are being used effectively to track lead progression, and help troubleshoot any operational issues.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Monitor key sales metrics, assist with reporting, and provide insights on pipeline health to support data-driven decision-making.
- Sales Outreach: You will engage with our community and provide support to our chatbot, interacting with customers, users and potential leads.
- Business systems: Become an expert in SQL, dbt, and enterprise data operations
- Manage Live Chat: Interact with prospects live on the dbtlabs.com website
You are a good fit if you:
- You have 1+ years of experience in sales development, sales operations, or a customer-facing role with a strong understanding of sales processes.
- Are a strong communicator (verbal and written) and collaborate well in a fast-paced environment
- You have an analytical mindset and can quickly identify trends or inefficiencies in sales operations to drive improvements.
- Are values-oriented, and you share our company values.
You’ll Have an Edge If:
- You have previous experience working in sales operations or process optimization roles.
- You have a strong understanding of sales performance metrics, pipeline management, and reporting.
- You have experience working with analytics, BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker),SQL or sales automation tools.
- You’ve worked in a high-growth or fast-paced sales environment where process improvement and scalability were key priorities.
