We are looking for a driven and passionate Business Development representative to join the Expand sales department at Wrike! You will work alongside an experienced team of Account managers and ISRs. Your main goal is to identify and generate new business opportunities. BDRs are essential in the early stages of the Wrike sales process, helping to drive revenue growth by expanding our customer base. How You’ll make an impact
- By supporting marketing efforts by following up on inbound leads and inquiries.
- By identifying new prospects across the business of existing customers
- By actively seeking out potential clients through various channels such as cold calling, email outreach, social media, and networking events.
- By assessing the suitability of potential clients by understanding their needs, budget, and decision-making processes to ensure they are a good fit for Wrike
- By conducting research on the prospect and their organisation and leverage thoughtful personalisation in your outreach across email, phone and LinkedIn.
- By qualifying prospects to help improve conversion rates from Discovery Call to Opportunity.
- By using tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Salesloft, and Salesforce.
- By working closely with other BDRs, Senior Sales Executives, and Marketing to improve and perfect our messaging.
- Assessing the suitability of potential clients by understanding their needs, budget, and decision-making processes to ensure they are a good fit for Wrike
- Performing research on competitors, consumer behavior, market trends, product developments and lead acquisition methods
- Analyzing customer personas and target audience demographics to generate leads
- Compiling lists of potential leads to contact with information
- Developing and implementing email campaigns to attract new leads
- Collaborating with sales teams to identify and convert prospective customers
You will achieve your best if you have
- Eagerness to learn and excel in Sales
- Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience
You will stand out with
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university
- 1+ years experience in a Sales Development or similar role in a B2B business
- Positive and energetic phone skills, excellent listening skills, strong writing skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Demonstrated success of reaching monthly and quarterly targets
- Experience with CRM and opportunity management systems, preferably Salesforce
- Strong work ethic and a ‘Can Do’ attitude
