About the Role

Airship is looking for our next Sales Development Representative (SDR) for North America! Our team is responsible for generating high-value pipeline opportunities for our Enterprise Sales team and is extremely instrumental in the growth of our business. This role emphasizes outbound prospecting including researching & prospecting for specific accounts / personas, creating personalized messaging, and using phones/email/LI to generate interest (there are some inbound qualifying / scheduling prospects generated by our Marketing / Partner teams as well).

The ideal SDR at Airship is someone who is looking for hands-on experience in a fast-paced startup environment where things are constantly changing and evolving. We're looking for self-motivated SDRs who are passionate about rapidly growing their career in sales!

What You'll Do

  • Work through assigned target accounts and execute personalized, account-based sales development strategies to maintain a healthy sales pipeline
  • Develop and execute on cold calling and email campaign strategies to qualify potential customers as a match for our solution.
  • Qualify outbound opportunities for our Enterprise sales team via phone and email strategies.
  • Use our powerful tech stack (Salesforce, Outreach, ZoomInfo, Sales Navigator, 6Sense, etc.) to manage your job, drive success, and track/measure progress
  • Perform a consistent mix of activities at volume with a strong emphasis on phone calls
  • Exhibit extreme ownership over achievement of weekly/monthly goals and targets
  • Learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of the Airship technology, industry trends, and competition

Work Location & Travel Requirements

Airship’s ‘Digital First’ approach to work means that for the majority of our roles, work can be performed remotely, either some or most of the time. Airship believes that flexible work contributes to a more productive and more equitable work environment, and that Airshippers are able to collaborate, innovate, and support one another across different locations and timezones.

Some roles may require that employees perform their work from a specific location to support business activities, and/or be within proximity to an Airship office location or customer or partner locations, while other roles can be performed 100% remotely.

This position is fully remote and may require up to 10% travel based on business needs or as requested by your manager.

Compensation

Airship’s compensation is determined by a variety of factors including market data, business needs, and geography. Base pay is part of your total compensation package and is dependent on multiple factors, including: relevant skills, work experience, business priorities, market demands, and location.

The starting base pay range for this position is: $24.04 to $26.92 an hour + Commission. Airship believes that employees should have the opportunity to benefit from value-creation, so equity is also offered with this role. In addition, Airship offers a robust benefits package as part of our Total Rewards approach to compensation.
