Job Title: Senior Analyst, Financial Modeling and Analysis
Location: Virtual, remote worker location possible
Studio Business Group (SBG) is looking for Senior Analyst, Financial Modeling and Analysis who will be part of the team responsible for financial modelling and analysis of SBG titles and projects supporting decision making processes within the SBG portfolio. This is a newly created team: a center of excellence’ for financial modelling and analysis. The team will own modelling and valuation standards, ensure that each IP, title and business opportunity has an up to date recent financial model and scenarios and will provide modelling analytical support to key decision making and business processes such as title greenlighting, title reviews, business performance review processes or (new) business development opportunities or commercial negotiations. The role will report to Snr, Manager, Financial modelling Team Lead.
Responsibilities:
- Perform financial analysis and providing insights on performance of the titles in the SBG portfolio
- Build, develop and ‘always update’ financial P&L models for titles and projects in the portfolio
- Collaborate across organization providing financial analysis support, insights and scenario planning for various decision making processes in the organization
- Follow standards in financial modelling for SBG titles and IPs ensuring consistency, clarity and accuracy and insightfulness of analysis across portfolio
- Financial modelling and analysis supporting Business development and commercial opportunities and co-dev, XDEV, outsourcing or any other external opportunity commercial discussions
- Scenario planning and financial modelling supporting optimization projects
- Comparative analysis between various financial scenarios
- Support consolidated financial planning and analysis for our title P&Ls during SBG planning cycles
- Support preparation of management information and presentations for SBG stakeholders by providing financial data, information and insights
Qualifications & Skills:
- BA/BS in business, strategy, finance, economics or related field; MBA and/or CFA designation preferred
- 5+ years of experience in roles in finance, investment analysis and consulting roles with multiple modelling, analysis and investment decisions advisory responsibilities
- Experience in gaming industry is not required but passion and interest in gaming will be a plus from culture fit perspective
- “Always forecasting” mentality making sure that analysis reflect most recent information and decisions
- Passion and energy for process excellence and continuous improvements
- Attention to details and accuracy; ability to review complex models quicky
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and influence the outcome through insights and analysis
- Self-starter, showing initiative and ability to work independently
- Good communication and presentation skills;
- Strong work ethic and confidentiality a must
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross functional teams
