Your Mission

As a Copywriter on the Brand team, you’ll be a creative force at the heart of our storytelling, leading with concept, crafting with purpose, and pushing the work to be both smart and standout. In an environment where innovation meets collaboration, you will:

  • Develop big, brand-forward ideas that turn business needs into compelling creative. Concepting across campaigns, product launches, and lifecycle moments - anchored in strong strategy and clear audience insights.
  • Collaborate with design and marketing teams to create cohesive, high‑impact campaigns that unlock new opportunities and deliver seamless experiences for our customers.
  • Own and optimize the content development process -from brief to publication, to improve efficiency, scalability, and overall quality across web, email, social, and in‑product surfaces.
  • Act as a voice guardian, shaping our tone across surfaces while experimenting with ways to evolve it as we grow.

What You’ll Bring to Engine

Experience: 3–5 years of hands‑on B2B or SaaS copywriting experience, ideally within travel‑tech, fintech, or a fast‑growing startup environment.

Skills: A storyteller’s instinct for clarity and persuasion, strong editing chops, familiarity with SEO best practices, and an innate ability to switch effortlessly between voice tones (conversion, thought leadership, product).

Conceptual Thinking: You ask “why” before you write. You think in ideas, not just words - and can build a narrative that threads through a campaign, not just a headline.

Strategic Edge: You see the bigger picture. You’re comfortable in brainstorms, product reviews, or pitch deck.

Taste: You know what good looks like. You’ve got strong opinions on what’s working in the market and what’s not.

Tech‑Savvy: Bonus points if you’re fluent in figma.

Mindset: You thrive in fast‑paced settings, roll up your sleeves to solve problems, and love collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver results that move the needle.

Compensation
Our compensation packages are based on several factors, including your experience and expertise. In addition to a competitive base salary, total compensation may include equity and/or variable pay (OTE). Your recruiter will share your complete compensation package as you move through the process.

Base Pay Range
$120,000$150,000 USD
