Your Mission:
As part of the Engine team, you’ll play a vital role in an environment where innovation meets collaboration. Here’s what you’ll take charge of:
- Analyze large-scale pricing datasets to identify trends and benchmark comparable properties across regions
- Architect core pricing intelligence systems using robust statistical ML methods that form the foundation for our next-generation pricing platform
- Build enterprise-grade ML models that balance sophistication with interpretability, ensuring stakeholder confidence and regulatory compliance
- Develop strategic pricing algorithms that combine the reliability of proven statistical methods with the innovation of modern ML engineering
- Advanced analytics experience, including experimental design, A/B testing, and causal inference methods
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineers, analysts, and business teams to uncover pricing opportunities
- Perform exploratory data analysis and communicate clear, actionable insights to leadership and stakeholders
- Drive business impact by building strategic models and thriving in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
What You’ll Bring to Engine:
We’re looking for someone who’s ready to make an impact and grow alongside us:
- Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience in Data Science or ML Engineering, ideally in pricing, revenue optimization, or similar high-impact domains.
- Skills: You’re a problem-solver with strong machine learning and statistical modeling skills, and you're especially adept at working with large, complex datasets.
- Tech-Savvy: Strong proficiency in SQL and Python is a must. Experience with agnostic tech stacks is a plus. Bonus points if you’ve worked with Snowflake or Streamlit.
- Education: A Master’s degree in a quantitative field is highly desired; a PhD is a plus.
- Mindset: You thrive in fast-paced environments, communicate insights clearly to technical and non-technical audiences, and are driven by real business impact. You're not just building models—you’re helping shape pricing strategy.

Compensation
Our compensation packages are based on several factors, including your experience and expertise. In addition to a competitive base salary, total compensation may include equity and/or variable pay (OTE). Your recruiter will share your complete compensation package as you move through the process.
