The Role

We are seeking a Senior Director of Product to lead Apollo’s product strategy across developer ecosystem initiatives and next-generation data products. This is a pivotal leadership role reporting to the Chief Product Officer, responsible for shaping how developers build with Apollo’s APIs, Apollo app ecosystem, and data products — turning Apollo into a platform that powers the broader sales and marketing tech ecosystem.

You will own the vision, roadmap, and execution for our developer platform and data product suite, driving direct revenue from multiple products within the portfolio, and leading data and ecosystem product strategies.

This is an ideal role for a technical product leader who thrives in fast-paced environments, operates at strategic and executional altitude, and is passionate about building world-class platforms and data systems that developers love.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and lead the product vision & strategy for Apollo’s Data products, partnering with GTM team to expand impact and reach & customers to continue to build out best in class products.
  • Drive Apollo’s ecosystem strategy by building key strategic integrations and enabling partners and customers to build on top of Apollo through public APIs, marketplaces, and third-party apps.
  • Partner deeply with Engineering, GTM, and Data Science to deliver best in class data products & app integrations .
  • Drive Apollo’s ecosystem strategy by enabling partners and customers to build on top of Apollo through public APIs, marketplaces, and third-party apps.
  • Establish best practices and product standards for scalable, secure, and well-documented APIs and developer-facing products.
  • Lead, mentor and grow a high-performing product team, bringing technical and strategic leadership to critical product pillars.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in product management, with 4+ years leading technical product areas (platforms, APIs, or data infrastructure).
  • Experience building and scaling product that drive direct ARR.
  • Deep experience in developer platforms or ecosystem strategy in a high-growth SaaS environment.
  • Proven success shipping and scaling data-centric or integration-driven products at enterprise scale.
  • Strong product instincts, with the ability to connect technical capabilities to strategic business outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across engineering, sales, partnerships, and customer success.
  • Background in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field strongly preferred.
