The role
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior FP&A Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role involves managing the operating plan, supporting strategic decision making, and working cross-functionally on key initiatives that will help shape the future of a $1 billion Series D company backed by Insight Partners.
What you'll do
- Annual operating plan : Build and update the company’s financial model and develop a strong understanding of key financial drivers. Help prepare materials and narratives for Board of Director meetings and internal executive meetings.
- Company-wide budgeting and forecasting : Provide department leaders with financial insights, analysis, and support to accelerate growth and inform strategic decision-making. Review budget vs actuals with other department leaders every month.
- Pricing & Deal Desk : Support product team in developing competitive pricing strategy for new and existing SKUs. Support sales team by providing pricing guidance, analyzing deal structures, evaluating negotiation trade-offs.
- Grow the team : This will be the second hire on our FP&A team, and we are looking for top talent eager to help manage and scale up this function at Glia.
Requirements
- 2+ years of prior experience in FP&A (or investment banking / consulting, etc)
- Strategic and creative problem solver ready to roll up their sleeves
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing competing priorities and deadlines
- Strong attention to detail coupled with an ability to see the bigger picture
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills
- Advanced Excel skills and experience working with NetSuite, Salesforce, and Tableau
- Extensive experience collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large volumes of data
- Strong understanding of P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow (There will be a modeling test)
