About the team & opportunity
Calendly is the scheduling automation platform used by millions for eliminating the back-and-forth emails to find the perfect time — and so much more. As a much-loved brand powering meetings for millions every week, Calendly has built a remarkable GTM machine. Our team oversees a hybrid PLG and sales-led motion, and are looking for a Senior Growth Marketer to help build out the machine that generates leads for our Sales team.
In this role you will develop a roadmap of priorities and experiments that are goaled towards generating sales pipeline. This is not a traditional demand generation or ABM role, however. With most of our current demand being inbound, you will lean into areas of opportunity such as product-qualified leads from our PLG user base, very targeted outbound strategies, and optimizing the prospect journey through our website, chat, and lead nurtures – among many more opportunities. You should be a very tech-savvy marketer, able to ideate and build experiences yourself and measure their performance – while also being able to understand and create compelling messaging for your prospects. You will have a perfect balance of autonomy to experiment, innovate, alongside a highly supportive and collaborative team turning your work into revenue.
You will report directly to our VP, Growth, and work very closely with our GTM Operations, Sales & Success, Lifecycle Marketing and many other partners across our GTM organization.
On a typical day, you could be working on:
- Standing up a highly personalized outbound program targeting leads showing intent through behavior or data signals. Own the program from lead sourcing and enrichment to messaging, sequencing and analytics.
- Conversion rate optimization activities and experiments to reduce friction for form fills and inbound leads through website, email, and chat. Continuously A/B test subject lines, CTAs, timing, personas, and content.
- Creating high-converting landing pages and interactive tools or demos to better capture in-market audiences and book meetings.
- Exploring, building, and testing viral tools or experiences that drive organic acquisition.
- Optimizing a few paid campaigns to re-target qualified audiences and support our expansion activities.
- Ownership of our pipeline generation machine. Review and intimately understand the levers, performance, and workstreams, and be the voice of Marketing in pipeline review meetings – regularly providing a well considered perspective on performance and opportunities.
- Experimenting with new data sources, workflow tools, and AI-first solutions to identifying high intent opportunities, and providing the best possible experience through to meetings booked (and beyond).
What do we need from you?
- At least 5+ years of experience in a similar growth role in B2B Saas.
- Technical marketing skills – you’ve spent enough time in marketing automation tools, CRMs, lifecycle marketing/email platforms, and are familiar with the more recent entrants (Clay et al.)
- Analytical skills – you’re not quite an analyst but able to tell a story with data, and even access, transform and analyze data at a basic level.
- Strong storyteller who can simplify complex concepts into compelling narratives. You are a pro at conveying technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Outstanding written communication skills and love communicating value in a clear, human way. You know how to write for conversion across web, email, and other channels.
- A strong sense of creativity – you’re always dreaming up new plays, messaging/creative, workflows or ways of solving problems, and eager to try anything.
- You’re a driver. We’re building a new way of doing things. To be successful you’ll build a plan, ensure your partners are onboard, and push to get your work out the door to a point of impact or learning – fast.
- You bring positive energy, clarity, and drive as a collaborative team player.
- Bonus: Experience in a hybrid PLG/SLG business where you have worked on campaigns for both self-serve and enterprise customers.
- Authorized to work lawfully in the United States of America as Calendly does not engage in immigration sponsorship at this time

Verify Employer Thoroughly
Research the company's identity thoroughly before applying. Check for a professional website with contacts, active social media, and LinkedIn profiles. Verify details across platforms and look for reviews on Glassdoor or Trustpilot to confirm legitimacy.
Never Pay to Get a Job
Legitimate employers never require payment for applications, training, background checks, or equipment. Always reject upfront payment requests or demands for bank details, even if they claim it's for purchasing necessary work gear on your behalf.
Safeguard Your Personal Information
Protect sensitive data like SSN, bank details, or ID copies. Share this only after accepting a formal, written job offer. Ensure it's submitted via a secure company system or portal, never through insecure channels like standard email attachments.
Scrutinize Communication & Interviews
Watch for communication red flags: poor grammar, generic emails (@gmail), vague details, or undue pressure. Be highly suspicious of interviews held only via text or chat apps; legitimate companies typically use video or phone calls.
Beware of Unrealistic Offers
If an offer's salary or benefits seem unrealistically high for the work involved, be cautious. Research standard pay for similar roles. Offers that appear 'too good to be true' are often scams designed to lure you into providing information or payment.
Insist on a Formal Contract
Always secure and review a formal, written job offer or employment contract before starting work or sharing final personal details. Ensure it clearly defines your role, compensation, key terms, and conditions to avoid misunderstandings or scams.
