About the team:

The Enterprise IT team is seeking a detail-oriented and technologically proficient Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join our dynamic group. We value candidates with an Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) mindset who can thrive in a fast-paced environment. This role involves working with various software programs, clients, and technical staff, often requiring field analysis and maintenance. This team is responsible for all office network infrastructure, wireless networking, VPN, and enterprise infrastructure for AWS.

What you’ll do:

  • Understand and implement cloud computing principles in AWS.
  • Install and maintain operating environments through automation and jobs.
  • Update software using automation and job scheduling.
  • Monitor operating environments for performance and issues.
  • Ensure the security and safety of operating environments.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation after becoming proficient with core technologies.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to technical problems.
  • Document reported issues and actions taken.
  • Contribute to and provide feedback in Lessons Learned sessions.
  • Maintain professional interactions with clients and colleagues.
  • Provide training and technical support.

Who you are:

  • Hands-on experience or understanding of public cloud implementations (AWS, GCP, and Azure), administration, and operations.
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) concepts, with preference for AWS services.
  • Experience with scripting languages, particularly PowerShell, with Bash/Ruby as a plus.
  • Understanding of general networking concepts, including AWS VPCs, subnets, and routing.
  • Familiarity with network hardware from vendors like Arista, Cisco, Juniper, and Palo Alto.
  • Experience in Linux and Windows administration.
  • Configuration management skills using Terraform and AWS Systems Manager.
  • Experience with Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policy, IIS, and File Services.
  • Understanding or experience with modern authentication products (Okta preferred).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong time-management skills.
  • Understanding of data laws and compliance.

Compensation & Benefits

  • The salary band for this position ranges $125,000 to $145,000 commensurate with experience and performance. Compensation may vary based on factors such as cost of living.
  • This position will be eligible for a competitive year end performance bonus & equity package.
