Job Description

Position Title: Senior Legal Executive Assistant - Remote

Contract: Full-time, Independent Contractor

Posting Juridictions: To support US Eastern Time

Compensation: TBC based on experience and location

Description:

A well-established and growing international law firm is looking for a Legal Secretary/Executive Assistant with Law Firm experience to support our growing team.

The Role:

You will provide a first-class service to our Partners and internal stakeholders, while managing schedules, calendars and travel appointments. Collaborate with other team members globally, dealing with varying communications from both internal and external parties.

Responsibilities will include supporting Partner time tracking, drafting client engagement letters, document formatting, using the task management system (tracking responsibilities) and ad-hoc research to support partner projects.

You will ensure all administrative tasks are completed quickly and accurately with an eye for detail, utilizing your previous Law Firm experience in understanding the business to effectively prioritize, liaise with stakeholders, and help ensure the many goals are achieved.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of senior administrative support experience in a Law Firm
  • Remote working experience required
  • Fluent English (verbal and written communications)
  • Proficiency in MS office, particularly Excel/Word (fact/spell checking, formatting, proofreading etc.)
  • Calendar and inbox management, travel planning, and scheduling
  • Ability to remain poised under pressure, multitask, and prioritize effectively
  • Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially
  • Communicate effectively with Senior Managers/Partners and clients in a timely manner
