Overview
As the Senior Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis, you are responsible for providing day-to-day oversight and leadership to our FP&A team, supporting strategic decision-making through financial analysis, modeling, and planning. Reporting to the Director, FP&A, you are partnering cross-functionally with leaders across the business to deliver meaningful insights and support long-range planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities. In this role, you are a self-starter, eager to learn, and results and deadline oriented. You play a key role in shaping the financial future of a high-growth SaaS business in the e-commerce space.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the FP&A team, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to team members
- Manage the annual budget process, quarterly forecasts, and long-range planning activities in partnership with business leaders
- Prepare and deliver financial models and analysis to support strategic decision-making across departments
- Translate financial data into clear, actionable insights to inform operational and strategic priorities
- Develop and maintain reporting on SaaS metrics, including ARR, gross retention, net retention, customer acquisition cost, and customer lifetime value
- Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, systems, and tools to increase efficiency and accuracy
- Support investor and board reporting, providing accurate and timely financial information and commentary
- Serve as a strategic business partner to teams across the company, including GTM, Product, and Operations
- Own and manage our planning tool, NetSuite Planning & Budgeting (NSPB)
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- 8+ years of progressive experience in FP&A or a related financial role
- Demonstrated experience with budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning
- Strong financial modeling and analysis skills, with advanced proficiency in Excel
- Prior experience working for a PE backed B2B SaaS company
- Prior leadership experience such as player-coach, team lead or people manager
- Working knowledge of SaaS financial metrics such as ARR, gross and net retention, LTV, CAC, and other KPIs
- Ability to communicate complex financial insights to non-financial stakeholders
- Experience working cross-functionally in a fast-paced business environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (MBA or CPA a plus)
- 10+ years of total experience in FP&A or related finance roles
- Experience supporting a SaaS or e-commerce organization
- Experience with financial reporting tools, planning systems, or ERP integrations
- Experience with NetSuite and NetSuite Planning & Budgeting (NSPB), Salesforce and Looker
