About the job
This position is needed to support recruiting and hiring for all Twilio jobs based in the Americas region. This Sr. TA Manager will lead talent acquisition in Americas for R&D and G&A hiring, managing a team of full lifecycle recruiters (remote in Americas) and serving as the the focal point for Americas stakeholders and partners.
Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll:
- Lead and manage a team of full lifecycle (FLC) recruiters in Americas who own and deliver the end-to-end recruitment process for all Twilio business units (R&D, and G&A)
- Partner with senior level business leaders and HRBPs in Americas to understand their organization's talent needs and workforce planning strategy; Work with recruiters and/or TA Managers to develop recruiting strategies and manage implementation and delivery of hiring plans
- Set expectations about recruiter job responsibilities and measure individual and team performance against goals and deliverables; Actively performance manage direct reports; Be a coach and mentor for career development opportunities
- Build and maintain strong relationships within the TA org and across our stakeholders and partners, including TA Ops, Employment Branding, Early in Career, Workforce Planning, Twilio businesses, FP&A, HR, Legal, DEI, and Total Rewards
- Partner with the Talent research and Intelligence teams on hiring strategies, especially when it comes to understanding talent markets, building candidate pipelines, and optimizing talent channels
- Use data to identify and implement opportunities to improve candidate experience, increase efficiency, and reduce cost per hire; Create and send monthly reports to VP and SVP business leaders on progress towards hiring goals and related recruiting metrics
- Enforce and uphold operational excellence standards and compliant hiring practices throughout the recruitment process
- Live the Twilio Magic values and serve as a Twilio brand ambassador; Act in accordance with TA’s mission and vision
- Be a Positron to keep your team motivated, engaged, and curious; Lead through change management and take accountability for TA OKRs and projects
- Attend and participate in training and enablement sessions; Consult on decisions about new or changing tools/systems/processes and make recommendations on best practices

Required:
- 7+ years experience in a recruiting role with 4+ years as a talent acquisition people manager in Americas
- Experience directly supporting and advising senior level leaders (VP+), hiring managers, and stakeholders in Americas region
- Experience independently building reports and analyzing recruiting data using various reporting tools and systems (Greenhouse, Workday, Visier, Eightfold, etc)
- Experience partnering with peers and leaders globally to own delivery of the global recruiting plan
- Excellent collaboration, communication, presentation, and team building skills
- This role is required to be based in Toronto, Canada
Desired:
- Experience directly supporting and advising senior level leaders and stakeholders for R&D, and G&A teams
- Knowledge of and adherence to Canadian and Columbian employment laws and compliance regulations
Location
This role will be remote, and based in Canada.
Travel

The estimated pay ranges for this role are as follows:
- Based in British Columbia. : CAD142,800.00 - CAD 178,500.00
The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location.
