At PRECISION AQ, talent is displayed in the work, not flaunted in plumes of conceit. Here, cooperation and wecentricity are what we champion. Are you a self-effacing rock star? A sensible diva? A down-to-earth maestro? Have we got a stage for you. Our people are wildly talented, clever, and inspiring.
Who we are:
The mission of Medical Services is to ensure document accuracy and relevance and, as the medical/scientific voice of the agency, inspire colleagues and clients with new ideas born of strategic scientific insights. As Medical staff advance in their careers, they do less tactical work and more strategic/supervisory work. These tasks are not meant to be exclusive to job titles. Junior Medical staff, supported by more senior colleagues, should dabble in tasks assigned to more advanced titles. This experience will be valuable in justifying promotions and in identifying special talents. Senior Medical staff can help with more tactical tasks associated with more junior titles in a pinch. All Medical staff should, throughout their careers, continually deepen their expertise in the following areas: molecular biology, molecular genetics, genetics, immunology, pharmacology, anatomy and physiology, clinical trial design, and statistics.
Who you are:
You will work independently and proactively to create core claims from clinical and scientific documents, fact check documents, conduct literature searches, create figures and tables, and educate your teammates on aspects of science and medicine that relate to the brands they work on. You will collaborate with copy writers to help verify and source claims and perform advanced insight mining tasks, like writing competitive intelligence summaries, comparing product labels, analyzing the peer-reviewed medical literature, clinical study reports, and statistical analysis plans. You will attend MLR meetings and document key decisions and provide solutions for problematic claims/messages.
Essential functions of the job include but are not limited to:
What you must know
- Have an excellent working knowledge of basic statistics, including strengths and weaknesses of common statistics used in medicine
- Have a basic understanding of foundational concepts in promotional advertising
- Have a deep understanding of the difference between promotional advertising to consumers and healthcare providers
- Understand the strategic objectives of our clients
- Know the range of print and digital tactics that we use to communicate the value of our client’s brand
- Know the types of claims and imagery that MLR teams typically find noncompliant or risky
- Have a firm command of client data and relevant facts, as reported in the label, medical literature, clinical study reports, and statistical analysis plans
What you must do
- Write core claims independently
- Attend MLR meetings and take detailed notes (even if client is capturing changes in a document management system)
- Advise client or internal team on solutions for unsupported or not fully supported claims (e.g., revise, delete, obtain new reference)
- Based on your knowledge of the client’s strategic objectives and your understanding of the scientific literature, make recommendations to the team on new tactics or programs
- Review creative concepts and provide guidance on supportability of claims; tailor “risk” of borderline claims to the situation and advise team accordingly
- Review documents written by nonmedical staff for accuracy, relevance, and alignment with strategic objectives of the client
- Conduct advanced insight mining by comparing labels and analyzing peer-reviewed literature and clinical study reports
Qualifications:
Minimum Required:
- Education: Advanced science degree (PhD, PharmD, MD, or comparable degree)
Other Required:

Verify Employer Thoroughly
Research the company's identity thoroughly before applying. Check for a professional website with contacts, active social media, and LinkedIn profiles. Verify details across platforms and look for reviews on Glassdoor or Trustpilot to confirm legitimacy.
Never Pay to Get a Job
Legitimate employers never require payment for applications, training, background checks, or equipment. Always reject upfront payment requests or demands for bank details, even if they claim it's for purchasing necessary work gear on your behalf.
Safeguard Your Personal Information
Protect sensitive data like SSN, bank details, or ID copies. Share this only after accepting a formal, written job offer. Ensure it's submitted via a secure company system or portal, never through insecure channels like standard email attachments.
Scrutinize Communication & Interviews
Watch for communication red flags: poor grammar, generic emails (@gmail), vague details, or undue pressure. Be highly suspicious of interviews held only via text or chat apps; legitimate companies typically use video or phone calls.
Beware of Unrealistic Offers
If an offer's salary or benefits seem unrealistically high for the work involved, be cautious. Research standard pay for similar roles. Offers that appear 'too good to be true' are often scams designed to lure you into providing information or payment.
Insist on a Formal Contract
Always secure and review a formal, written job offer or employment contract before starting work or sharing final personal details. Ensure it clearly defines your role, compensation, key terms, and conditions to avoid misunderstandings or scams.
