The Project Management team is the engine that keeps the agency machine running. We are strategic problem solvers and communicators that lead cross-functional teams from planning to project delivery. PM's are the barometer for teams, and collaborate with all departments to ensure work is executed on time and on budget, and partner with Account Teams in strategic planning and workflow. We radiate wecentricity and a constructive approach to all work, with a focus on efficiency and effectiveness.

Who you are:

Sr. Project Managers are strategic partners and problem solvers who plan, execute, and complete projects on schedule and within budget. This role is expected to manage multiple accounts, projects and campaigns ranging from simple to complex while overseeing cross-functional team members throughout the lifecycle of the projects. SPM's can have direct report PM's, APM's, and PC's.


Essential functions of the job include but are not limited to:

Project Planning

  • Partner with Group Project Managers and Account to develop and manage high-level client plans for the year while aligning to the statement of work (SOW)
  • Develop, manage and disseminate complex program/campaign timelines
  • Provide timely and actionable input to all account-developed project briefs

Team Management

  • Manage and mentor/coach project manager(s), associate project manager(s) and project coordinator (s)
  • Lead the team during weekly internal scrum, status and planning meetings
  • Partner with the creative resource manager for resource needs, timing and allocation expectations
  • Onboard and train new PM team members

Workflow/Process

  • Understand and advocate for the workflow process, and each team member’s role and responsibility within the workflow
  • Review action orders (AOs) to ensure clear and executable direction is provided
  • Lead the online routing of projects, while ensuring quality assurance at each step
  • Ensure WF data is accurate and up to date

Communications

  • Provide constant communication via teams, Workfront, email, phone, etc. to meet client expectations and deliverables, collaborate/advise around talent assignments on projects
  • Advocate for the team while monitoring delivery dates and budget burn
  • Provide alternative solutions to ensure project stays on track Lead teams in constructive, solutions oriented communications

Growth/Advancement Opportunities

  • Participation in statement of work (SOW) development and large-scale/annual planning
  • Research process and industry practices
  • Identify and share best practices
  • Liaise with clients and vendor partners manage multi-member team

Financial

  • Scope input and review, scope creep monitoring, recommendations to cover overages, forecasting review, change order ownership, staffing plan ownership, OOP tracking,

Qualifications:

Minimum Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 4 years’ direct work experience in a project management capacity, including all aspects of process and budget development and project planning and execution

Other Required:

  • May require travel domestically and/or internationally including overnight stays
  • Expertise in project management principles, methods and techniques

Preferred:

  • Proficient with an online project management workflow tool, experience in Workfront a bonus
  • Pharmaceutical experience
  • Experienced in managing complex digital, print, and broadcast production projects

Competencies:

  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills along with robust attention to detail.
  • Effectively and efficiently prioritize and manage the execution of tasks in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
  • Assertive and tenacious in conflict resolution

Precision is required by law in some states or cities to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to: skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Precision, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. This role is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, health insurance, retirement savings benefits, life insurance and disability benefits, parental leave, and paid time off for sick leave and vacation, among other benefits.

$75,000$115,000 USD
