Role Overview
As a Senior Product Designer at Ironclad, you’ll take ownership of key product areas, designing intuitive, scalable solutions that help legal and business teams work more efficiently. You’ll collaborate closely with design, product and engineering partners to bring ideas from concept to launch—grounded in user research and executed through high-quality design. This role is hands-on and impact-driven, with opportunities to shape both the user experience and the design culture as we continue building a thoughtful, end-to-end CLM platform.
What You'll Do
Own the design process for specific product areas—from problem definition through implementation—identifying opportunities for innovation while delivering thoughtful, user-centered solutions.
Translate design work into clear, actionable specs and partner closely with engineering to bring features to life—ensuring high-quality execution from concept to launch.
Drive design decisions through research insights and user testing, balancing user needs with technical constraints and business goals to create experiences that solve real problems.
Elevate our design practice by contributing to our evolving design system, providing thoughtful critique to peers and grow our collective capabilities.

What You'll Bring
5+ years crafting digital product experiences with a portfolio showcasing your design thinking and problem-solving approach, particularly in B2B or enterprise contexts where you've shipped features with measurable impact.
Strong collaboration skills, demonstrated through successful partnerships with product and engineering teams and the ability to articulate complex design concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
Technical design proficiency with tools like Figma or Sketch, complemented by an understanding of design systems principles and component-based approaches that enable consistent, scalable experiences.
Experience with user research methodologies and testing approaches that inform and validate design decisions.

Base Salary Range: $160,000 - $175,000
The base salary range represents the minimum and maximum of the salary range for this position based at our San Francisco headquarters. The actual base salary offered for this position will depend on numerous factors, including individual proficiency, anticipated performance, and the location of the selected candidate. Our base salary is just one component of Ironclad’s competitive total rewards package, which also includes equity awards (a new hire grant, along with opportunities for additional awards throughout your tenure), competitive health and wellness benefits, and a commitment to career growth and development.
