We are looking for a Senior Product Designer for our brand new commerce team. You’ll dig into the needs of solopreneurs to understand the ways they are growing and scaling their business and what Calendly can do to support their growth.
You will be responsible for designing simple & intuitive experiences that our users will love and you will partner with our incredible data and engineering teams to see that your solutions can get realized.
A day in the life of a Senior Product Designer at Calendly
The Design Team at Calendly is a tight knit group of creatives who work closely with product management, content design, research, and engineering to craft amazing experiences for our users. On a typical day, you will be working on:
- Design holistic and scalable solutions in a new product area that add value to customers beyond scheduling: offering webinars, selling digital assets, and generally monetizing time
- Inspire and align the cross-functional team to move in new directions by effectively communicating your design approach with strong storytelling
- Drive discovery work to understand commerce, transaction, and relationship habits to build personas and user journeys
- Partner with designers, product managers, engineers, content designers, and researchers to improve and refine the Calendly experience
- Partner with the design system team to improve design patterns
- Engage with customers to ensure that they are usable
What do we need from you?
- 5+ years building and delivering experiences for digital products in product-led B2B or B2C companies
- A plus, but not required, experience designing for commerce, solopreneurs, and small business owners
- Experience integrating new product lines into an existing product suite
- A strong portfolio of work delivering quality persona-based experiences, including both activation and engagement projects
- An ability to flex across projects and teams as needed to provide design expertise and direction
- Expert design storytelling with an ability to communicate design solutions to leaders and peers, based on the right mix of customer needs and key business metrics
- A demonstrated understanding of the levers that balance business goals, team processes, and user needs, and how they affect the production of usable design systems.

The ranges listed below are the expected annual base salary for this role, subject to change.
Calendly takes a number of factors into consideration when determining an employee’s starting salary, including relevant experience, relevant skills sets, interview performance, location/metropolitan area, and internal pay equity.
Base salary is just one component of Calendly’s total rewards package. All full-time (30 hours/week) employees are also eligible for our Quarterly Corporate Bonus program (or Sales incentive), equity awards, and competitive benefits.
Calendly uses the zip code of an employee’s remote work location, or the onsite building location if hybrid, to determine which metropolitan pay range we use. Current geographic zones are as follows:
- Tier 1: San Francisco, CA, San Jose, CA, New York City, NY
- Tier 2: Chicago, IL, Austin, TX, Denver, CO, Boston, MA, Washington D.C., Philadelphia, PA, Portland, OR, Seattle, WA, Miami, FL, and all other cities in CA.
- Tier 3: All other locations not in Tier 1 or Tier 2
