The role:
We are seeking a Senior Project Manager with strong experience in fintech or banking platforms, particularly with product launches and platform integrations. This role will play a key role in managing cross-functional projects that support our co-branded business initiatives. You will work closely with program managers, account managers, product teams, engineering, business development, marketing, and bank partners to ensure alignment, delivery, and successful execution of strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate has experience working in dynamic fintech environments, is comfortable leading internal and external stakeholder communication, and thrives in a fast-paced, metrics-driven organization. This position is client-facing and cross-functional, requiring excellent coordination and communication skills across multiple departments and stakeholders.
What you’ll do:
● Lead and manage end-to-end project plans for co-branded business initiatives involving internal platform builds and web-based applications.
● Collaborate closely with product, engineering, marketing, banking partners, and clients to ensure deliverables are met within scope and timeline.
● Drive project timelines and backlog prioritization while ensuring transparency through weekly reporting.
● Manage ceremonies and ensure synchronization between internal stakeholders and client-facing teams.
● Create clear, comprehensive project documentation and regularly report on status, risks, and blockers.
● Coordinate efforts across multiple departments and align business needs with technical implementation.
● Utilize tools like Jira, Smartsheet, and Looker to track and report project progress.
● Navigate through a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment with agility and ownership.
● Engage in client relationship management to better understand and address client needs related to the banking platform.
What you’ll need:
● 5+ years of experience in project management within fintech or banking environments.
● Proven experience working with cross-functional teams including product, engineering, marketing, and external banking partners.
● Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly to evolving business needs.
● Strong organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
● Experience managing backlogs and client relationships in a platform integration context.
● Familiarity with project management tools like Jira, Smartsheet, and Looker.
● Experience creating and sharing detailed weekly project status reports.
● Comfortable working in a metric-driven organization and driving business results.
● PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.
● Experience in co-branded or platform partnership projects is a strong advantage.
