Right now, we are looking for a Senior SAP WM to join our team!
Work Description:
The candidate will collaborate with leadership, functional and technical teams to:
Participate in business process improvement discussions.
Perform analysis with the intent of driving out the system enhancement requirements.
Design solutions to meet the requirements.
Produce resource work estimates for planning purposes.
Configure SAP via the SAP implementation guide to produce a business result based on end user requirements.
Write functional design specifications to act as instructions for the development team where configuration does not fully meet the requirements.
Perform unit and integration tests to ensure a quality product has been produced before releasing the solution to the Quality Control and end-user testers.
Simulate the deployment of the solution.
Manage the deployment of the solution with the assistance of technical and functional teams.
Provide tier 2 production support for the solutions post-deployment.
Leadership:
The candidate will not be responsible for direct reports however, they will have the opportunity to manage individual work requests and projects. In these cases, the candidate
will be tasked with managing the software development life cycle (SDLC) for the requests.
This typically requires leading small development and deployment teams.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent).
A minimum of 8 years’ experience performing the SAP Business Systems Analyst role.
SAP Business Systems Analyst experience with at least 4 full SAP implementations or major projects involving multiple core SAP modules.
Communicate effectively and credibly with all organizational levels and across all business functions.
Display the will to stay current with SAP technological innovations.
Ability to identify resources and estimate level of effort needed to accomplish work based on minimal detail.
Accept ownership and drive tasks to completion with minimal oversight.
SAP Skill Requirements
The candidate must have functional and technical knowledge of SAP basics with specific
focus on the following module(s) and business processes.
WM – Warehouse Management:
WM organizational structure.
Transfer requirements / orders.
IMWM interfaces (inventory management / warehouse management).
Cycle counting.
Integration with robotic systems.
Integration with conveyor systems.
ABAP:
The ability to read and interpret ABAP code with the intention of simple defect resolution
or simple enhancement.
Collaborate with ABAP developers to solve more complex problems.
