We are looking for a talented senior software engineer who is passionate about building high-quality, delightful mobile experiences. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining features in our React Native codebase that power our mobile applications.
River has raised more than $50 million from leading investors, including; Goldcrest, Kingsway, Polychain, M13, DG, and Valor.
What you will be doing
Architect and develop new features in our React Native codebase.
Collaborate with product management, design, and other engineers to plan and execute projects.
Write high-quality, tested code following best practices.
Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and share knowledge.
Contribute to the engineering culture and help shape its future for years to come.
What we look for in you
5+ years of software engineering experience, focusing on mobile development.
Strong proficiency in React Native and mobile development principles.
Proficient in Swift/Objective-C and Java/Kotlin for native platforms.
Ability to write reliable code and take ownership of your work.
Solid understanding of web security fundamentals for mobile apps.
Genuine interest in River's mission and a passion for technology.
Nice to haves
Experience in the fintech industry.
A design portfolio and an eye for good design; experience crafting delightful animations in RN.
Experience with GitHub Actions, GCP, DataDog, Apollo Client for GraphQL, Figma, and Elixir.
Experience working in a rapidly scaling company.
Interest in Bitcoin.
Location & Salary
100% remote option available within the Americas and Europe, with offices in SF, NYC, and Columbus OH
Salary range between $140,000 - $215,000 based on skills and experience
