Backed by powerhouse investors like Telescope Partners, Blackstone, Elefund, and Permira, we’re growing fast—and we want you to be part of it.

Your Mission

At Engine, we're reimagining business travel from the ground up. As a Product Manager focused on AI experiences, you'll play a key role in shaping how Engine will leverage AI across the business. You'll help us craft intuitive, data-driven, and personalized experiences that deliver measurable impact for both our customers and the business.

What You'll Do

  • Define and Drive Product Strategy
    • Shape a compelling product vision for the business in how we add AI internally for efficiency gains and adding 3rd party AI tools across all departments in the company.
  • Collaborate Across Functions
    • Work closely with engineers, designers, data teams, and business stakeholders to define and ensure Engine is adopting AI everywhere we can.
    • Foster inclusive team discussions and champion shared goals across multiple workstreams.
  • Deliver Impactful Solutions
    • Lead the design and rollout of scalable AI systems—from improving internal workflows to finding tooling to increase efficiency in sales, marketing, finance, HR, and more.
  • Use Data to Inform Decisions
    • Combine customer research, behavioral insights, and experimentation to guide decision-making and optimize outcomes.
    • Run experiments and continuously test and iterate to ensure our solutions are delivering maximum value.
  • Communicate with Clarity
    • Translate complex ideas into clear, actionable plans.
    • Keep teams and stakeholders aligned by telling compelling stories around the "why" behind product priorities and trade-offs.

What You'll Bring

Technical Expertise & Experience

  • AI/ML Foundation: 5+ years in product management with hands-on experience in AI/ML product development, including understanding of LLMs, neural networks, training pipelines, and model deployment at scale.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong grasp of AI technologies including natural language processing, computer vision, recommendation systems, and conversational AI. Familiarity with frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or cloud AI services (AWS SageMaker, Google AI Platform, Azure ML).
  • API & Integration Experience: Understanding of REST APIs, GraphQL, webhooks, and third-party integrations. Experience with AI API providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Cohere, etc.) and managing rate limits, latency, and cost optimization.
  • Data Architecture Knowledge: Proficiency in data pipelines, ETL processes, vector databases, and data warehousing. Understanding of data privacy, governance, and compliance requirements (GDPR, CCPA) in AI contexts.

Technical Product Management Skills

  • System Design & Architecture: Ability to design scalable AI systems, understand microservices architecture, and make informed technical trade-offs between performance, cost, and functionality.
  • Security & Compliance: Knowledge of AI safety, model governance, bias detection, and security best practices for AI applications.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Engineering Collaboration: Proven track record of working with engineering teams on complex technical implementations, understanding development cycles, and making data-driven prioritization decisions.
  • Stakeholder Management: Strong ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and influence across teams without direct authority.
  • Systems-Centered Thinking: Deep empathy for internal employees combined with solid understanding of system design and first principle thinking.

Strategic & Analytical Mindset

  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Advanced experience using experimentation, A/B testing, and statistical analysis to validate hypotheses and inform roadmap decisions.
  • ROI & Performance Optimization: Track record of measuring and improving key AI product metrics including model accuracy, inference latency, user engagement, and business impact.
  • Mindset: Curious, outcomes-oriented, and adaptable. You combine strategic thinking with a hands-on technical approach and thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments where you can dive deep into technical details when needed.

Safe Remote Job Search Tips

Verify Employer Thoroughly

Research the company's identity thoroughly before applying. Check for a professional website with contacts, active social media, and LinkedIn profiles. Verify details across platforms and look for reviews on Glassdoor or Trustpilot to confirm legitimacy.

Never Pay to Get a Job

Legitimate employers never require payment for applications, training, background checks, or equipment. Always reject upfront payment requests or demands for bank details, even if they claim it's for purchasing necessary work gear on your behalf.

Safeguard Your Personal Information

Protect sensitive data like SSN, bank details, or ID copies. Share this only after accepting a formal, written job offer. Ensure it's submitted via a secure company system or portal, never through insecure channels like standard email attachments.

Scrutinize Communication & Interviews

Watch for communication red flags: poor grammar, generic emails (@gmail), vague details, or undue pressure. Be highly suspicious of interviews held only via text or chat apps; legitimate companies typically use video or phone calls.

Beware of Unrealistic Offers

If an offer's salary or benefits seem unrealistically high for the work involved, be cautious. Research standard pay for similar roles. Offers that appear 'too good to be true' are often scams designed to lure you into providing information or payment.

Insist on a Formal Contract

Always secure and review a formal, written job offer or employment contract before starting work or sharing final personal details. Ensure it clearly defines your role, compensation, key terms, and conditions to avoid misunderstandings or scams.
