Your Mission:

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and solutions-driven Sr. HR Systems Analyst to own the day-to-day administration, configuration, and optimization of our People tech stack—including our HRIS, ATS, Performance Management, and Payroll systems. This role will support our People team and cross-functional partners by ensuring systems are accurate and enable data-driven decision making.

System Administration & Support

  • Serve as the primary administrator and single-threaded owner for our People Tech stack, including, but not limited to, our HRIS (TBD), ATS (Greenhouse), Performance Management (Lattice), and Payroll (UKG) platforms
  • Manage user access, permissions, workflows, integrations, and configurations across all platforms
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and serve as liaison with vendors for escalations
  • Work with the People Operations team to maintain data integrity and ensure consistency across platforms

Project Management

  • Support a new HRIS implementation, including configuration, data migration, testing, and go- live
  • Create and maintain project plans, timelines, and status updates to keep all parties informed and accountable
  • Document processes, system configurations, and user guides to support operational excellence

Process Optimization

  • Continuously evaluate and enhance system workflows to ensure they are efficient, scalable, and aligned with Engine’s growth
  • Explore and recommend AI-powered solutions, tools, and features that can improve process efficiency, data quality, and user experience across the People tech stack
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and automate manual processes across the employee lifecycle (e.g., onboarding, performance reviews, comp cycles, offboarding)
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure systems are configured to support evolving business needs, policies, and organizational structure
  • Stay current on system capabilities, vendor updates, and best practices to help the organization scale with intention and efficiency

What You’ll Bring to Engine:

We’re looking for someone who’s ready to make an impact and grow alongside us:

  • 5+ years of experience in HR systems, such as UKG, Workday, Lattice.
  • Strong hands-on experience with one or more of: HiBob, Lattice, UKG, Greenhouse
  • Comfortable managing system configurations, integrations, and reporting
  • Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets and comfortable working with data
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to translate technical detail into simple terms for end users
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities and balance short-term requests with long-term improvements

Compensation
Our compensation packages are based on several factors, including your experience and expertise. In addition to a competitive base salary, total compensation may include equity and/or variable pay (OTE). Your recruiter will share your complete compensation package as you move through the process.

Base Pay Range
$100,000$125,000 USD
