What you’ll do:

  • Lead design from concept to launch for 0-1 products, transforming ambiguity and abstract opportunities into concrete product experiences that inspire users and unlock new business value for Pinterest.
  • Drive, test, and advocate for rapid experimentation—leveraging prototyping, user feedback, and data to iterate quickly and validate bold new ideas in-market.
  • Create and evangelize innovative design systems and visual languages specific to emerging products, while balancing speed and craft.
  • Act as the voice of the user in cross-functional squads, influencing product and technical direction through compelling storytelling and clear rationale.
  • Collaborate deeply with PMs, engineers, and researchers to uncover insights, define requirements, and shape product vision from the ground up.
  • Champion a culture of learning and curiosity, proactively sharing design thinking processes, experimentation learnings, and best practices with the broader TwoTwenty team.
  • Design for AI-native and ML-backed experiences, working side by side with engineers and researchers to shape how next-gen technologies are made intuitive, ethical, and delightful for millions of users.
  • Mentor and uplevel peers—offering design critique, feedback, and a safe space for creative risk-taking both within TwoTwenty and the broader Pinterest design community.


What we’re looking for:

  • 5+ years of experience in Product Design.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Design, Product, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven track record envisioning, building, and shipping 0-1 digital products in close partnership with product management and engineering.
  • Strong portfolio that demonstrates outstanding product design skills (prototyping is a must) and product thinking.
  • Great communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate your design decisions and the problems they’re solving.
  • Attention to detail and a sense of pride and ownership over the quality of the product.
  • Team player with strong collaboration skills and ability bring cross-functional partners along in the journey.
  • High level of self-awareness independence and accountability with a growth mindset.

In-Office Requirement Statement:

  • We let the type of work you do guide the collaboration style. That means we're not always working in an office, but we continue to gather for key moments of collaboration and connection.
  • This role will need to be in the office for in-person collaboration 1-2 times every 6 months and therefore can be situated anywhere in the country.
