Sr. Technical Program Manager, Future of Curation
Pinterest Technical Program Managers deliver critical & strategic outcomes by directing and scaling engineering effort across organizational and functional boundaries.
In this role, you’ll drive revisitation - empowering users to make progress in their inspiration → action journeys by resurfacing their boards and saves, helping them pick up where they left off & building on previously saved ideas to inspire new opportunities. You’ll partner with teams across the company, and think strategically about opportunities to drive visitation, engagement, retention & revenue across surfaces.
This is a critical pillar of our Curation strategy, and an opportunity to drive meaningful top-line impact for Pinners and Pinterest.
Pinterest is looking for an experienced and motivated Sr. Technical Program Manager to drive the future of Curation. Questions you’ll have to tackle in partnership with Engineering, Product, and Design include: 1/ How might we evolve Boards to accelerate Pinners’ inspiration journeys so they can find what they’re looking for faster? 2/ How might we build better signals and models specific to helping Pinners in their Curation journeys? 3/ What is the next horizon for Boards?
Pinners love Pinterest because it provides them a way to express themselves through Curation, but there is so much untapped potential in the Curation ecosystem. This role plays a critical part in both shaping Pinterest’s Curation strategy and also driving meaningful top-line impact for Pinners and Pinterest.

- Entrepreneurial spirit with strong leadership, who can develop and lead a new initiative from the ground up and thrive in ambiguity
- Passion for execution and getting things done with a focus on streamlining process across disparate groups

Safe Remote Job Search Tips
Verify Employer Thoroughly
Research the company's identity thoroughly before applying. Check for a professional website with contacts, active social media, and LinkedIn profiles. Verify details across platforms and look for reviews on Glassdoor or Trustpilot to confirm legitimacy.
Never Pay to Get a Job
Legitimate employers never require payment for applications, training, background checks, or equipment. Always reject upfront payment requests or demands for bank details, even if they claim it's for purchasing necessary work gear on your behalf.
Safeguard Your Personal Information
Protect sensitive data like SSN, bank details, or ID copies. Share this only after accepting a formal, written job offer. Ensure it's submitted via a secure company system or portal, never through insecure channels like standard email attachments.
Scrutinize Communication & Interviews
Watch for communication red flags: poor grammar, generic emails (@gmail), vague details, or undue pressure. Be highly suspicious of interviews held only via text or chat apps; legitimate companies typically use video or phone calls.
Beware of Unrealistic Offers
If an offer's salary or benefits seem unrealistically high for the work involved, be cautious. Research standard pay for similar roles. Offers that appear 'too good to be true' are often scams designed to lure you into providing information or payment.
Insist on a Formal Contract
Always secure and review a formal, written job offer or employment contract before starting work or sharing final personal details. Ensure it clearly defines your role, compensation, key terms, and conditions to avoid misunderstandings or scams.
