Job Description
At Roofr, we’re obsessed with our customers. We constantly gather feedback to shape, prioritize, and launch the products they truly need. That’s what makes Roofr’s CRM special. We started by building essential sales tools like aerial roof measurements and digital sales proposals. But when our customers asked for a simple, affordable way to manage and scale their entire businesses, we listened. So, we created a CRM that connects these solutions—along with payments, material ordering, and more—into a seamless, powerful platform. With a clear roadmap ahead, we’re excited to continue expanding and leading the market with innovative products.
We have an amazing culture, strong financials, and best-in-class company metrics. It’s an exciting time to be part of an extraordinary startup that is already successful, yet still early enough to offer its team significant growth, equity, and the opportunity to make a real impact.
The Technical Recruiter will be responsible for leading the full-cycle recruitment process for critical technical roles within the company. This includes passively sourcing top talent, managing relationships with candidates, and collaborating with hiring managers to fill key positions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in technical recruiting, with a proven track record of successfully filling high-level engineering and technical positions.
This is a 3 month contract with the possibility for extension.

- Develop and implement advanced sourcing strategies to identify and engage passive candidates for senior-level engineering roles, including Managers, Team Leads, Architects, and QA
- Utilize a variety of sourcing techniques, including LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean searches, GitHub, Stack Overflow, and industry networking, to build a robust pipeline of top-tier technical talent
- Conduct talent mapping and maintain an ongoing database of potential candidates for future hiring needs
- Recruitment Process Management:
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job posting, candidate screening, interview coordination, and offer negotiation
- Work closely with hiring managers to understand technical role requirements, develop tailored job descriptions, and create strategic recruitment plans
- Provide expert guidance to hiring managers on best practices in interviewing and candidate selection
- Candidate Engagement & Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates, ensuring a positive experience throughout the recruitment process
- Conduct in-depth interviews to assess technical skills, cultural fit, and alignment with the company’s values
- Serve as a trusted advisor to candidates, providing clear communication and timely updates throughout the hiring process
- Data-Driven Recruiting & Reporting:
- Track and analyze key recruiting metrics, including time-to-fill, source effectiveness, and candidate quality, to continuously improve the recruitment process
- Maintain accurate candidate records in the applicant tracking system (Greenhouse)
What you'll bring to the role:
- 4+ years of experience in full cycle technical recruiting, with a focus on senior-level engineering roles
- Proven expertise in passive candidate sourcing and building pipelines for hard-to-fill technical positions
- Strong understanding of technical roles and skills, including software development, systems architecture, QA, and leadership positions

Verify Employer Thoroughly
Research the company's identity thoroughly before applying. Check for a professional website with contacts, active social media, and LinkedIn profiles. Verify details across platforms and look for reviews on Glassdoor or Trustpilot to confirm legitimacy.
Never Pay to Get a Job
Legitimate employers never require payment for applications, training, background checks, or equipment. Always reject upfront payment requests or demands for bank details, even if they claim it's for purchasing necessary work gear on your behalf.
Safeguard Your Personal Information
Protect sensitive data like SSN, bank details, or ID copies. Share this only after accepting a formal, written job offer. Ensure it's submitted via a secure company system or portal, never through insecure channels like standard email attachments.
Scrutinize Communication & Interviews
Watch for communication red flags: poor grammar, generic emails (@gmail), vague details, or undue pressure. Be highly suspicious of interviews held only via text or chat apps; legitimate companies typically use video or phone calls.
Beware of Unrealistic Offers
If an offer's salary or benefits seem unrealistically high for the work involved, be cautious. Research standard pay for similar roles. Offers that appear 'too good to be true' are often scams designed to lure you into providing information or payment.
Insist on a Formal Contract
Always secure and review a formal, written job offer or employment contract before starting work or sharing final personal details. Ensure it clearly defines your role, compensation, key terms, and conditions to avoid misunderstandings or scams.
