About the role:
We’re looking for an exceptional, detail-oriented video lead to help us tell the story. Reporting to the Creative Director, you will: manage the video production pipeline, coordinate with stakeholders, talent and resources, help write the scripts, plan and conduct video shoots, edit and publish videos. You will be responsible for crafting how Cresta speaks through video, making complex stories concise and compelling. Projects are numerous and will range from large productions that take weeks to complete and small items that are needed quickly. To manage it all you’ll also coordinate and delegate to agencies and contractors as needed.
Location: Must be in San Francisco Bay Area
Responsibilities:
- The production of first-class marketing videos ranging from customer testimonials, to product demos, to event materials, to social shorts and beyond
- Project management for multiple simultaneous video productions all while planning the production of upcoming videos
- Facilitating resources like securing crews, equipment and locations for video shoots
- Write scripts and collaborate with technology experts to craft scripts that tell concise compelling stories
- Art direction for videos ranging from interviews to fully animated sequences
- Editing videos large and small, some with quick timelines
- Planning and coordination with internal stakeholders and external agencies
- Direction that inspires people in front of the camera
- Help to develop how the Cresta brand identity manifests in marketing videos
- Staging and publication of videos online as well as managing video-focussed social media channels
- Stay organized and communicate effectively with creative partners and stakeholders
- Continuously trial new tools and services that might help elevate the quality of our work, or the efficiency of video production
- Be a Team Player: We’re a small team, so pitch in where needed and support your colleagues
- Learn from results: Find ways to evaluate the effectiveness of a deliverable and use what you learn to improve the next one
Qualifications We Value:
- Bachelor’s degree
- At least 2 year of marketing video experience, ideally for a SaaS or B2B business
- Excellent communication skills: Comfort presenting work and articulating the rationale for specific creative decisions
- Excellent organization skills and experience managing complex projects
- A video reel that demonstrates your ability to deliver excellence
- Preferred experience marketing software or AI products
- Preferred experience in software categories related to contact centers, customer experience and virtual agents
- Preferred 3D animation
- Preferred Motion graphics production for web like vector animations similar to Lottie or Rive
