The Opportunity:
Nansen is looking for a Business Development Manager to help grow and strengthen our strategic partnerships in the crypto ecosystem. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for our partners, driving mutual value through co-marketing, product integrations, and revenue-generating initiatives. You’ll play a key role in developing and executing partnership strategies, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and tracking performance against key metrics. This is a high-impact, cross-functional role that requires strong relationship management, negotiation skills, and deep industry knowledge. Responsibilities:
- Build, maintain, and develop relationships with new and existing partners to drive mutual value and business outcomes.
- Act as the primary point of contact for partner organizations, ensuring alignment on goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with partners to develop joint roll out strategies and initiatives that align with business goals.
- Identify opportunities for co-marketing, product integration, and joint revenue generation across all product segments
- Track and evaluate partner performance against agreed KPIs and metrics, ensuring accountability and continuous improvement.
- Provide regular reporting on partnership results to internal stakeholders.
- Work closely with internal teams (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success) to ensure seamless execution of partnership initiatives.
- Act as the advocate for partner needs and feedback within the organization.
- Lead negotiations with prospective and existing partners, ensuring favorable terms and outcomes for both parties.
- Manage and renew partner agreements, ensuring compliance and alignment with company goals.
Requirements
Must-Haves
- 3–5 years of experience in Partnerships or Business Development, with a strong track record of managing and growing partner relationships.
- Deep knowledge of the Crypto ecosystem and its key players, trends, and market dynamics.
- Based in New York and able to travel occasionally for partner meetings and events.
[Preferred candidates must already have the legal right to work in the US at the time of application, as visa sponsorship is not available for this role]
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience in Crypto Partnerships or Business Development specifically.
- Experience working cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams.
