Fully Remote (Work from Home), 9 AM - 5 PM CST
Role Overview:
We are looking for a driven and motivated Business Development Representative (BDR) to join the team. In this role, you will be responsible for outbound outreach to potential clients, primarily through cold calling, email sequences, and LinkedIn messaging. Your primary goal will be to set qualified appointments through strategic outbound efforts. Key Responsibilities:
Outbound Outreach:
Conduct cold calls to potential clients, introducing the client’s services and value propositions.
Utilize email sequences and LinkedIn messaging to engage leads and nurture relationships.
Qualify leads through thoughtful conversations, identifying potential fits for the services offered.
Appointment Setting:
Set qualified appointments for the sales team and founder to continue the sales process.
Ensure all appointments are with decision-makers and relevant stakeholders within potential client organizations.
Lead Management:
Manage provided contact lists and ensure proper follow-ups with leads.
Maintain accurate records in CRM for tracking communication, appointments, and outcomes.
Adaptability & Sales Skills:
Quickly adapt to new selling techniques and approaches to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Demonstrate a hustler mentality, staying motivated and persistent in reaching your goals.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment, where priorities and timelines may consistently shift.
Highly entrepreneurial mindset—being the first employer-focused sales hire on the team, you will be expected to take ownership of the end-to-end sales function.
Qualifications:
Experience:
2+ years of experience in a sales development or lead generation role, with cold calling experience.
Experience selling to HR teams or in the HR tech industry is highly preferable.
Skills:
Excellent verbal communication skills, with a neutral accent that aligns with client preferences.
Proficiency in email sequences, LinkedIn messaging, and other outbound sales tactics.
Familiarity with CRM systems and pipeline management.
Ability to quickly qualify leads and set appointments effectively.
Attributes:
Highly motivated, with a hustler mentality and a passion for achieving sales targets.
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and engage prospects.
