About the role
As a Business Development Representative at PHM you’ll serve as a frontline ambassador of our services to employees of our corporate clients. Your mission: connect with employees, help them understand the value of PHM’s personalized healthcare support, and guide them toward enrolling in our services.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys direct outreach, thrives in conversations, and is passionate about improving people’s lives through access to better healthcare. You’ll play a key role in helping employees take full advantage of a benefit that’s designed to provide clarity, confidence, and expert care during some of life’s most important health moments.
What You’ll Accomplish
- Consistently meet or exceed monthly employee engagement and enrollment targets, contributing directly to the success of PHM’s employer partnerships.
- Contribute to the development of a scalable outreach playbook, including scripts, templates, and best practices, to support the onboarding and success of future Business Development Representatives.
- Provide real-time feedback and transparent reporting on outreach performance, employee responses, and campaign effectiveness to inform ongoing optimization across Marketing and Account Management.
How You’ll Spend Your Days
- Conduct outreach (via phone & email) to educate employees about PHM’s services and encourage enrollment.
- Clearly and confidently explain the benefits of PHM’s offering in a way that’s easy to understand and personally relevant.
- Handle inbound inquiries from employees with professionalism, empathy, and clarity.
- Partner with the Marketing and Account Management teams to tailor outreach by client and employee population.
- Maintain detailed records of employee interactions and engagement metrics in HubSpot.
- Partner with Service Delivery to further client education around our services and value.
- Share insights and feedback from employees to inform PHM’s messaging, content, and enrollment strategies.
- Continuously look for ways to improve how we communicate the value of PHM and reach more employees effectively.
What you bring to the table
- 2+ years of experience in cold outreach and inside sales in a healthcare, health tech or employee benefits driven organization.
- Exceptional ability with cold phone and email outreach, at initiating conversations, and in guiding people toward action.
- High empathy, EQ, and sales drive. An uncommon mix.
- Ability to work hours that run into the early evening Pacific Time
- Strong organizational skills and knowledge of CRM and outreach tools
- A self-starter with a genuine desire to help others. No lone wolves.
- Strong preference for experience supporting enrollment or education in a health or benefits-focused organization.

Compensation: The On-Target-Earnings range for this position is $110,000-$120,000 of which $65,000-$75,000 is base salary.
This is only a part of a total compensation package that also includes: health/dental/vision benefits, 401k with match, Stock Options, flexible PTO, PHM for PHM, and other benefits. Individual pay may vary from the target range as a number of factors including market forces, experience, location, disparities in market data and other relevant business considerations may all factor into final compensation.
This is a remote role requiring that you live in one of the following states: : AK, AZ, CA, CO, HI, ID, MT, NM, NV, OR, UT, WA, or WY.
