Our job is to help you succeed.
About the Role
We’re expanding our Customer Success team to improve onboarding speed and long-term retention by hiring a detail-oriented Data Migration & Implementation Specialist.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for manually transferring and formatting customer data from spreadsheets or legacy systems (typically QuickBooks) into the Knowify platform. Your work will directly improve time-to-value for new clients and reduce churn caused by incomplete onboarding and missing historical data.
You’ll work closely with internal Customer Success Managers (CSMs), who will handle all external communication. Your job is to own the behind-the-scenes implementation steps that accelerate client satisfaction and long-term adoption.
Responsibilities
- Accurately input historical customer data (projects, invoices, expenses) into the Knowify platform based on spreadsheets provided by clients.
- Identify, interpret, and reformat source data for compatibility with Knowify’s structure.
- Follow internal documentation and SOPs to maintain consistency across all migrations.
- Collaborate with Customer Success Managers to clarify project needs and ensure timely handoffs.
- Proactively communicate bottlenecks, missing information, or data inconsistencies.
- Maintain an extremely high standard of accuracy in all entries.
- Contribute to the improvement of internal migration tools, SOPs, and best practices over time.
Qualifications
Must-Have:
- Proven experience in data entry and data migration projects, ideally for SaaS platforms, ERP tools, or accounting software.
- Exceptional attention to detail and consistency in handling large volumes of data.
- Ability to interpret and reformat data from various sources (e.g., spreadsheets, legacy exports) into structured formats.
- Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal) for collaborating with internal teams.
- Self-directed, highly reliable, and comfortable owning deliverables independently.
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience migrating data into tools like QuickBooks, Xero, or construction/contractor-specific software.
- Familiarity with accounting structures (projects, invoices, expenses) or construction industry operations.
- Prior involvement in onboarding, implementation, or customer success teams at SaaS companies.
Compensation & Benefits:
- $800 - $1200 with $500 bonus at 90 days
- 13th month pay
- HMO coverage (including dependents)
- Paid holidays and leave
- Annual continuing education budget

Verify Employer Thoroughly
Research the company's identity thoroughly before applying. Check for a professional website with contacts, active social media, and LinkedIn profiles. Verify details across platforms and look for reviews on Glassdoor or Trustpilot to confirm legitimacy.
Never Pay to Get a Job
Legitimate employers never require payment for applications, training, background checks, or equipment. Always reject upfront payment requests or demands for bank details, even if they claim it's for purchasing necessary work gear on your behalf.
Safeguard Your Personal Information
Protect sensitive data like SSN, bank details, or ID copies. Share this only after accepting a formal, written job offer. Ensure it's submitted via a secure company system or portal, never through insecure channels like standard email attachments.
Scrutinize Communication & Interviews
Watch for communication red flags: poor grammar, generic emails (@gmail), vague details, or undue pressure. Be highly suspicious of interviews held only via text or chat apps; legitimate companies typically use video or phone calls.
Beware of Unrealistic Offers
If an offer's salary or benefits seem unrealistically high for the work involved, be cautious. Research standard pay for similar roles. Offers that appear 'too good to be true' are often scams designed to lure you into providing information or payment.
Insist on a Formal Contract
Always secure and review a formal, written job offer or employment contract before starting work or sharing final personal details. Ensure it clearly defines your role, compensation, key terms, and conditions to avoid misunderstandings or scams.
