MEP experience is a plus, but we are willing to train individuals who have at least 5 years of plan administration experience.
Overview of the Position:
Nova 401(k) Associates is looking to fill fully remote Defined Contribution MEP Account Manager positions. We will provide you with a home office set-up including a computer and a phone. Nova has been offering remote work for over 10 years. We offer a great work experience for our remote employees!
We are in the process of transforming our Account Manager positions to focus more on review and client/advisor service. Our MEP Account Manager position is supported by a strong implementation group, plan document team, special projects team, and a loan and distribution department. Our Account Managers are organized into teams that work toward firm goals with special recognition given to individuals with exceptional performance. Each Team Leader schedules weekly calls to discuss upcoming deadlines and developments within Nova and the industry.

Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain client and advisor relationships with a high active client retention rate
- Maintain a caseload of MEP adopters, approximately 50% split between ADP and Safe Harbor plans
- Manage and prioritize workload towards weekly goals in a results-oriented team environment
- Exemplify superior client service and ability to consult with clients regarding plan operation and design
- Work with other Nova departments, record-keepers, and advisors to ensure a great client experience
- Document all client interactions in our workflow management system
- Perform work according to Nova policies and procedures
- Proactively communicate with MEP clients and investment advisors about new industry developments
Qualifications:
- Five or more years of 401(k) plan administration experience
- Superior knowledge of ADP/ACP, 415, 410(b), Top Heavy, and 401(a)(4) non-discrimination testing
- Familiarity with MEP service models and providers a plus
- NIPA credential, ASPPA credential, or a 4-year college degree
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent time management, organizational skills, and ability to multi-task
- Ability to proactively and independently manage a book of business
- High level of critical thinking
- Committed to lifelong learning and coachable
Compensation and Benefits:
- Base Salary $74,000 - $95,000
- Salaried, non-exempt

Work Location/Hours:
- Work from home
- Must work from USA and be authorized to work for any US employer
- We will supply all necessary computer equipment
- 37.5-hour work week
- You may choose a start time between 7:30 am and 8:30 am
