  • Core analytics infrastructure should be open source and user-controlled
  • Analytic code—not just tools—should be shared and community-driven
dbt is now synonymous with analytics engineering, defining the modern data stack and serving as the data control plane for enterprise teams around the world. And we’re just getting started. We’re growing fast and building a team of passionate, curious people across the globe. Learn more about what makes us special by checking out our values.

We’re hiring an Employee Experience Program Manager to help make our culture tangible through how we work. You’ll manage the day-to-day delivery of programs that strengthen connection, build inclusive culture, and support effective ways of working across our global, remote-first team.

This role is part logistics, part storytelling, and part systems thinking. You’ll run and improve global programs that reduce friction, reinforce our values, and help employees do their best work-with a clear eye toward adoption, clarity, and continuous improvement.

What You’ll Do

Program Management & Delivery

  • Run and improve inclusive employee experience programs that support virtual and local connection, recognition and effective ways of working
  • Build effective communications plans to support program rollout and drive engagement
  • Create self-serve resources that support async-first, globally distributed work
  • Maintain internal documentation in Notion to keep things clear and accessible
  • Own logistics, timelines, and coordination across multiple stakeholders

Feedback & Iteration

  • Gather feedback and track adoption using data (e.g. participation, sentiment, engagement trends)
  • Recommend improvements based on what’s working - and what isn’t
  • Support pilots and experiments to improve programs over time

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with DEI, Workplace, Internal Comms, and Talent teams to align on messaging, timing, and delivery
  • Support key moments in the employee journey and identify new opportunities to solve friction points - whether in onboarding, day-to-day work experiences, or transitions

Systems & Operations

  • Help build and maintain the systems and tools that ensure smooth program operations and future scalability
  • Oversee daily operations like vendor management, scheduling, ordering, internal comms planning, etc.
  • Spot and fix points of friction in how we deliver and scale programs, and identify opportunities to simplify and streamline how we work

What You Bring

  • 3+ years in People Ops, employee experience/engagement, internal communications, events, or program coordination roles
  • Strong writing and communication skills, especially in async and remote environments
  • Experience supporting internal rollouts (Slack posts, Notion pages, enablement)
  • Comfort managing multiple projects independently and staying organized
  • Familiarity with Slack and Notion - or the curiosity to learn quickly
  • Interest in experimenting with AI and automation tools to work smarter

How You Work

  • You're proactive and detail-oriented - consistently driving progress and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
  • You approach programs like products - treating employees as users whose needs matter, and continuously improving based on their feedback and adoption.
  • You think in systems and workflows - naturally simplifying complex processes and making experiences more intuitive for everyone.
  • You communicate thoughtfully - building effective relationships across teams and adapting your style to different audiences.
  • You bring culture to life through actions - creating everyday experiences that make our values tangible and our workplace more inclusive and connected.

Safe Remote Job Search Tips

Verify Employer Thoroughly

Research the company's identity thoroughly before applying. Check for a professional website with contacts, active social media, and LinkedIn profiles. Verify details across platforms and look for reviews on Glassdoor or Trustpilot to confirm legitimacy.

Never Pay to Get a Job

Legitimate employers never require payment for applications, training, background checks, or equipment. Always reject upfront payment requests or demands for bank details, even if they claim it's for purchasing necessary work gear on your behalf.

Safeguard Your Personal Information

Protect sensitive data like SSN, bank details, or ID copies. Share this only after accepting a formal, written job offer. Ensure it's submitted via a secure company system or portal, never through insecure channels like standard email attachments.

Scrutinize Communication & Interviews

Watch for communication red flags: poor grammar, generic emails (@gmail), vague details, or undue pressure. Be highly suspicious of interviews held only via text or chat apps; legitimate companies typically use video or phone calls.

Beware of Unrealistic Offers

If an offer's salary or benefits seem unrealistically high for the work involved, be cautious. Research standard pay for similar roles. Offers that appear 'too good to be true' are often scams designed to lure you into providing information or payment.

Insist on a Formal Contract

Always secure and review a formal, written job offer or employment contract before starting work or sharing final personal details. Ensure it clearly defines your role, compensation, key terms, and conditions to avoid misunderstandings or scams.
