The FP&A team is at the epicenter of financial and operational decision-making across the organization. As a Financial Analyst in FP&A, you will work cross-functionally to drive business insight throughout the organization. The role will work cross-functionally across the business, with a focus on supporting the supply side (restaurant partner network) of our marketplace analyzing the sales, onboarding, maintenance, and optimization of that network. We're looking to hire strategic thinkers who can model the future, solve complex problems, and collaborate effectively with leadership. You'll rely on analytical and interpersonal skills to support a growing, online, Food for Work marketplace.
What You'll Do:
- Develop financial models and work on special projects to facilitate decision-making, planning, and reporting.
- Work across the Finance team to consolidate financial results and metrics in support of monthly close processes and Board of Directors reporting, including:
- Analyzing and interpreting data to understand key drivers of financial results.
- Assisting with revenue and expense forecasting during annual budget processes.
- Leverage operational sales data to assess the impact of our supply sales motion and identify opportunities to drive efficiency and growth.
- Analyze operational metrics (e.g. staffing ratios, turnaround time, feature adoption, etc.) to explain business performance and the impact to our restaurant partner network.
- Partner with key stakeholders and business leaders across the organization to provide strategic financial insights and recommendations.
- Prepare pitch materials, due diligence materials, and financial models to support any potential future financing, M&A, and partnership discussions.
What You Have:
- 1-3 years of transferable strategic financial experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with SQL and Tableau is a plus.
- Specific key functions: lookups & sumifs / averageifs
- Proven ability to operate independently, synthesize complex data, and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and accuracy, and intellectual curiosity.
- Ability to communicate thoughtfully and craft narratives for a broad network of stakeholders.
- Ability and desire to collaborate extensively with the FP&A team as well as business partners across the organization.
- Experience in two-sided marketplaces for B2C and B2B customers is a plus.
The national cash compensation range for this role is $81,000 - $107,000.
