Job Description

Our client is seeking a highly driven and self-motivatedAccount Executive to join their growing team at the forefront of the PRM (Partner Relationship Management) revolution. As the first Account Executive, you will play a crucial role in driving outbound sales and expanding their customer base, focusing on introducing their innovative PRM platform to new clients. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-growth startup where you can make a significant impact and have direct ownership of the sales process.

Fully-Remote (Work from Home), 9 AM - 5 PM EST

Role Overview:


As the firstAccount Executive (AE) at the company, you'll play a pivotal role in driving outbound sales and expanding the client base. This is a dynamic, high-impact role designed for a proactive and results-driven salesperson who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. You will be responsible for the full sales cycle—from prospecting and outreach to closing deals—focusing on high-level customers. The ideal candidate will be highly entrepreneurial, with experience selling B2B software, comfortable with ambiguity, and excited to build the sales function from the ground up while driving substantial growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Outbound Sales & Prospecting: Identify, engage, and convert high-value target accounts using cold calls, emails, LinkedIn, and other outbound tactics. Focus on generating quality leads and building relationships.

  • Pipeline & Deal Management: Own the entire sales cycle from first contact to close. Manage and prioritize deals, maintaining consistent communication with prospects, and achieving sales targets.

  • Consultative Selling & Relationship Building: Build trust with decision-makers in target accounts by positioning the PRM platform as a strategic solution to their business challenges. Act as a consultant, deeply understanding client pain points and tailoring solutions to meet their needs.

  • Market Intelligence & Feedback: Stay informed on industry trends, competitive offerings, and customer needs. Provide valuable feedback to the product team to refine the platform and improve sales strategies.

  • Collaboration & Strategic Input: Collaborate with the CEO and other team members to develop sales strategies, optimize messaging, and shape the sales process. Contribute to long-term goals by identifying ways to scale efficiently.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 3-5+ years of B2B SaaS outbound sales experience, preferably in PRM, CRM, or enterprise software.

  • Sales Expertise: Proven track record of outbound prospecting, lead qualification, and closing deals in a high-velocity sales environment.

  • Industry Knowledge: Experience selling to partnerships/channel sales teams, or sales leadership is a plus.

  • Communication Skills: Fluent in English, both written and verbal, with the ability to connect with prospects at various organizational levels.

  • Self-Starter: Proactive and results-driven, with the ability to work independently and meet targets.

  • Resilience: Comfortable with rejection, persistent with follow-ups, and disciplined in managing the sales pipeline.

  • Technical Proficiency: Skilled in using CRM systems (HubSpot preferred) and sales tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator.

What Success Looks Like

  • Lead Generation & Conversion: Generating and converting high-value leads into closed deals consistently.

  • Pipeline Management: Effectively managing the sales pipeline, ensuring timely follow-ups and closing deals in line with set targets.

  • Consultative Selling: Successfully building relationships with decision-makers and positioning our platform as a solution to their pain points.

  • Exceeding Sales Targets: Meeting or exceeding monthly and quarterly sales goals.

  • CRM Utilization: Efficient use of HubSpot CRM to track and manage sales activities, ensuring smooth sales processes and accurate record-keeping.
