SUMMARY
We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented HR Compliance Partner to lead and enhance our organization's HR compliance programs. In this role, you will ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and help shape policies that promote a fair, ethical, and legally compliant workplace.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Ensure ongoing compliance by tracking HR Compliance requirements against federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations (e.g., FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEOC, OFCCP, OSHA).
- Conduct regular audits of HR practices, policies, and procedures to identify risk as well as designing and implementing corrective measures
- Develop and update HR policies and employee handbooks in accordance with regulatory changes and business needs.
- Proactively monitor changes in the legal and regulatory landscape, implementing or updating internal documentation accordingly
- Act as a subject matter expert for HR compliance matters, providing guidance and training to HR staff, managers, and employees.
- Support internal and external audits (e.g., DOL, EEO, AAP) and respond to agency inquiries.
- Lead the design and delivery of compliance training programs, including harassment prevention, wage & hour compliance, and data privacy.
- Collaborate with legal counsel and HR leadership on complex employee relations or regulatory matters.
- Maintain accurate compliance records and documentation, including affirmative action plans, I-9 verifications, and EEO-1 reporting.
- Partner with HRIS and payroll teams to ensure data integrity and alignment with compliance requirements.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Legal Studies, or a related field; Master’s degree or JD a plus.
- 5–7+ years of HR experience with a focus on compliance, risk management, or employee relations.
- Strong knowledge of US (federal, state, and local laws) employment laws and HR best practices.
- Experience conducting internal audits and managing compliance investigations.
- HR certifications preferred (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP/SCP).
- Collaborator and a team player - an inclusive mindset and ability to build great relationships with stakeholders at all levels
- Strong project management skills; ability to multi-task effectively whilst maintaining exceptional attention to detail and including the ability to prioritize multiple projects and objectives simultaneously
- Excellent verbal and written communication with the ability to think critically and analyze and communicate complex information to all levels of an organization
- Strong organization and time management skills;
- Ability to use independent judgment and discretion when making decisions
- High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism in handling sensitive information.
Example:
- 7+ years of relevant experience with finance or business analysis background.
- Bachelor's Degree in accounting or Finance. MBA in a related field is a plus, but not required.
- Experience working with SaaS companies and/or management consulting.
- Financial modeling, P&L management, and/or analysis experience.
- Experience partnering with sales, marketing, account management, and/or post-sales organizations.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to extract insights from large sets of data.
- Strong understanding of the finance functional areas -- including revenue, accounting, and compliance.
- Strong business acumen and intuition needed for proactive partnership with stakeholders across the company.
- Ability to adapt and maintain quality standard in a complex and changing environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage tight deadlines.
- SQL, Tableau, and Salesforce proficiency a big plus.

Compensation
Starting compensation will be determined based on various factors, including but not limited to, the candidate's job-related experience, skills and geographic location. Your Talent Partner can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
This role is eligible to participate in Wiz’s equity plan and may also include incentive compensation.
The annual base salary range for this full-time position is listed below.
