About You
We are seeking a highly motivated, and experienced Manager, Marketing Analytics to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for solving data problems, and assisting business stakeholders with strategy for improving customer retention. As an advanced data analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting the customer retention team to improve decision making today to drive improved performance tomorrow.
Responsibilities
- Leverage SQL and other analytics tools to extract, analyze, and interpret customer data, providing actionable insights to improve business performance.
- Develop and refine customer segmentation models to drive personalized marketing, customer retention, and engagement strategies.
- Track and report on key customer metrics, including churn, retention rate, and lifetime value.
- Work closely with the Customer Engagement team to analyze customer interactions, measure campaign effectiveness, and refine engagement strategies.
- Work with BI team to build and maintain a suite of dashboards (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker) to inform decision making on the customer team.
- Design rigorous A/B tests to measure the impact of marketing and product initiatives. Give recommendations
- Work closely with Data Engineering to develop, test, and deploy analytics code in a scalable and production-ready framework. Ensure analytics workflows are optimized for performance and automation.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and adherence to best practices in data management, documentation, and reporting.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field, or relevant business experience
- 5+ years of experience in analytics, customer insights, or related fields within an eCommerce environment
- Strong SQL skills – ability to write and optimize complex queries, work with large datasets, and support ETL processes.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to translate data into strategic recommendations.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts and findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Experience with statistical analysis and A/B testing methodologies.
Preferred qualifications
- Master’s level degree in Business or quantitative field
- Strong proficiency in statistical analysis tools and programming languages such as Python or R
- Experience with machine learning techniques
- Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks) is a plus.
- Experience working with data engineering teams to put analytics models and queries into production.
