Role Summary:

As the Senior Director, Ads Product Marketing – Programmatic & Agency, you will be responsible for driving scaled adoption and success of Pinterest’s advertising solutions among agencies and key partner organizations (including programmatic platforms, MarTech providers, and third-party demand sources). You will lead the Programmatic & Agency Ads Product Marketing team, reporting to the VP of Ads Product Marketing & Operations, and serve as a key stakeholder aligning Pinterest’s global monetization strategy with the needs of our world-class agency and programmatic partners.

You will define and execute strategies that accelerate growth via partnerships, empower agencies with differentiated value propositions, and formalize go-to-market programs designed to unlock new revenue channels and incremental demand for Pinterest. This high-visibility role has direct impact on revenue via the agency channel and partner integrations and is responsible for shaping the way Pinterest collaborates, enables, educates, and wins with agencies and ecosystem partners.

What you’ll do:

  • Define Agency & Partnership GTM Strategy: Develop and drive comprehensive go-to-market strategies that scale ad demand through agency partners and ecosystem relationships. Determine segmentation and design education, incentives, channel marketing, partner programs, and market research to ensure agencies and partners are successful in driving advertiser adoption and value on Pinterest.
  • Lead Team & Cross-functional Execution: Build, guide, and inspire a talented team of agency and partnership product marketers. Collaborate deeply with partners across Product, Engineering, Sales, Business Marketing, PR, Legal, and more to advance cross-functional initiatives and major launches.
  • Shape Product Roadmap: Champion the needs and unique workflows of agency and partner audiences, refining product priorities and market requirements. Ensure Pinterest’s value proposition is clear, differentiated, and relevant for agency, platform, and third-party partner contexts.
  • Create Agency-Focused Programs: Oversee the creation of tailored narratives, playbooks, and enablement for agencies; drive scalable education, tools, and resources to inspire and empower agency teams.
  • Build Ecosystem Partnerships: Formalize and execute programs for third-party partners (DSPs, SSPs, ad exchanges, martech, etc.) and identify new opportunities for integrations and growth through the partner channel.
  • Revenue & Adoption Accountability: Own and co-manage growth and adoption goals for the agency and partner business alongside Sales and Product; architect analytics and measurement to tie GTM program impact directly to business outcomes.
  • Thought Leadership & Market Analysis: Be the internal and external voice of the agency and partner ecosystem; synthesize insights, trends, and feedback into actionable strategies. Represent Pinterest in key agency forums and industry events.

What we’re looking for:

  • 15+ years experience in product marketing or product management roles, with 5+ years in people leadership at-scale; track record of building and managing large, global teams.
  • Proven expertise in ad tech, online advertising, or related technology industries; well-versed in industry trends and dynamics across advertisers, agencies, merchants, and partners.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Results-driven, analytical thinker with strong product instinct—able to balance qualitative and quantitative insights, data, and market intuition to make sound decisions.
  • Deep experience owning product launches, GTM strategy and execution, product positioning, and segment-based marketing programs.
  • Outstanding cross-functional collaborator—able to align executive and stakeholder audiences, resolve competing priorities, and drive company-wide impact.
  • Exceptional communicator and storyteller; able to translate complex concepts into clear and compelling product narratives.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate and lead in fast-paced and ambiguous environments; adept at course-correcting and problem-solving.
  • Deep experience leading strategic, high-visibility initiatives in matrixed, global organizations.
  • A passion for Pinterest’s mission—to inspire people and make the online world more positive and useful.

Safe Remote Job Search Tips

Verify Employer Thoroughly

Research the company's identity thoroughly before applying. Check for a professional website with contacts, active social media, and LinkedIn profiles. Verify details across platforms and look for reviews on Glassdoor or Trustpilot to confirm legitimacy.

Never Pay to Get a Job

Legitimate employers never require payment for applications, training, background checks, or equipment. Always reject upfront payment requests or demands for bank details, even if they claim it's for purchasing necessary work gear on your behalf.

Safeguard Your Personal Information

Protect sensitive data like SSN, bank details, or ID copies. Share this only after accepting a formal, written job offer. Ensure it's submitted via a secure company system or portal, never through insecure channels like standard email attachments.

Scrutinize Communication & Interviews

Watch for communication red flags: poor grammar, generic emails (@gmail), vague details, or undue pressure. Be highly suspicious of interviews held only via text or chat apps; legitimate companies typically use video or phone calls.

Beware of Unrealistic Offers

If an offer's salary or benefits seem unrealistically high for the work involved, be cautious. Research standard pay for similar roles. Offers that appear 'too good to be true' are often scams designed to lure you into providing information or payment.

Insist on a Formal Contract

Always secure and review a formal, written job offer or employment contract before starting work or sharing final personal details. Ensure it clearly defines your role, compensation, key terms, and conditions to avoid misunderstandings or scams.
