We’re accomplishing this by expanding our advertising demand sources through partnerships with third-party ad platforms and working closely with Agencies and media companies who manage performance marketing budgets.
As a Senior Product Marketing Manager, Ad Demand and Growth Partnerships, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our third-party ad demand program through strategic planning, market analysis, and effective go-to-market strategies. You will partner closely with product leadership to set the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Martech ads solutions and ensure future investment in solutions are positioned effectively and successfully in the market.
What you'll do:
- As a product marketing manager, you are responsible for:
- Shaping our product direction through market analysis, research and close collaboration with Product, Engineering, and Design teams
- Defining positioning, go-to-market messaging and launch plans for new advertising solutions that unlock meaningful value for our advertisers and contribute to key growth goals
- Overseeing the creation of Martech specific narratives and playbooks based on unique advertiser goals
- Understanding the needs of different audience segments and personas and creating tailored programs and plans that help scale Martech demand and revenue
- Assessing the capabilities and value proposition of our advertising solutions through strategic, qualitative, and quantitative analysis
- Developing market expertise to inform business requirements for new products
- Serving as an advocate for our customers; demonstrating broad expertise and empathy for customer pain points
- Driving cross-functional alignment throughout the go-to-market process, tracking success metrics accordingly
- Using data and insights to drive alignment on strategic priorities and influence our overall monetization strategy
- Delivering consistent and scalable education, tools, and resources to agencies to educate and inspire them on Pinterest’s solutions for partners alike
- Building close XFN partnerships across Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Communications, PR and Legal
Developing and executing programs and processes that drive revenue, product adoption, and differentiated value with Pinterest Martech partnersDefining Martech go to market strategy, ensuring the right incentive models, product roadmaps, education programs, and partner marketing opportunities are in place to meet Martech needs and accelerate growth
What we’re looking for:
- 5+ years of experience in digital advertising at a fast growing ad tech company, Agency, Martech partner, or digital platform
- Experience working with a variety of Martech partners, including: campaign management partners, media agencies, ecommerce partners, data onboarding partners, integration partners, demand side partners, etc.
- Experience driving growth via partner programs
- Deep expertise in online advertising and the broader ad tech landscape
- Familiarity with performance and feed-based advertising products
- Familiarity with API integrations and API-based platforms
- Experience distilling down market opportunities and insights for the purpose of defining both commercial and go-to-market strategies
- Sharp eye for detail and proven project management and operational skills
- Keen ability to translate complexity into simple, clear communication and approach
- Excellent collaboration and influencing skills to create trusted partnerships, lead challenging conversations, and align senior stakeholders behind on goals

- This role will need to be in the office for in-person collaboration, that can range sometimes 1-2 times per quarter, and therefore needs to be in a commutable distance from one of the following offices: New York, San Francisco, or Chicago.
