About You

We’re seeking a highly experienced Senior UI/UX Manager to lead the design and art direction of our direct-to-consumer (DTC) website, with a focus on driving user engagement, conversion, and subscription growth in the wellness space. This role is ideal for a seasoned design leader who merges deep UX/UI expertise with the refined eye of an art director. You’ll partner closely with brand, creative, and product teams to bring an elevated, elegant, and seamless digital experience to life—grounded in performance and brand storytelling.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the end-to-end UI/UX strategy and execution for our DTC website and digital ecosystem.
  • Translate brand strategy and product positioning into world-class digital experiences that convert and retain customers.
  • Lead UX research, wire framing, prototyping, and user testing, with a focus on improving site usability, flow, and conversion (especially for subscription).
  • Provide art direction for the site, ensuring a consistently elevated and beautiful visual presentation that aligns with brand guidelines and creative campaigns.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with brand, growth, retention and creative teams to optimize site performance while maintaining high visual and experiential standards.
  • Guide and mentor internal and agency partners to ensure excellence in execution across desktop and mobile.
  • Maintain a high bar for design quality and UX thinking across the full funnel—acquisition, onboarding, routine-building, and post-purchase.
  • Lead A/B testing and UX experimentation in collaboration with DP leader, analytics, and marketing teams.
  • Act as a strategic thought partner to stakeholders across growth, brand, and product.

Requirements:

  • 7–10 years of UI/UX experience, including agency-side work and in-house digital leadership for a DTC brand
  • Strong portfolio showcasing both UX thinking and elevated art direction, ideally within the wellness, beauty, or lifestyle category
  • Deep experience with DTC eCommerce and subscription businesses
  • Proven success improving UX performance metrics (conversion, engagement, retention) while maintaining brand integrity
  • Strong understanding of user flows, information architecture, and mobile-first responsive design
  • Experience with Figma, prototyping tools, and user testing platforms
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills—able to clearly articulate design rationale to non-design partners
  • Highly collaborative with strong creative instincts and a sharp eye for detail

Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience working on wellness or health-related products
  • Knowledge of personalization, routine-building tools, or quiz UX
  • Understanding of CRO principles and tools (e.g., VWO, Full Story)

Safe Remote Job Search Tips

Verify Employer Thoroughly

Research the company's identity thoroughly before applying. Check for a professional website with contacts, active social media, and LinkedIn profiles. Verify details across platforms and look for reviews on Glassdoor or Trustpilot to confirm legitimacy.

Never Pay to Get a Job

Legitimate employers never require payment for applications, training, background checks, or equipment. Always reject upfront payment requests or demands for bank details, even if they claim it's for purchasing necessary work gear on your behalf.

Safeguard Your Personal Information

Protect sensitive data like SSN, bank details, or ID copies. Share this only after accepting a formal, written job offer. Ensure it's submitted via a secure company system or portal, never through insecure channels like standard email attachments.

Scrutinize Communication & Interviews

Watch for communication red flags: poor grammar, generic emails (@gmail), vague details, or undue pressure. Be highly suspicious of interviews held only via text or chat apps; legitimate companies typically use video or phone calls.

Beware of Unrealistic Offers

If an offer's salary or benefits seem unrealistically high for the work involved, be cautious. Research standard pay for similar roles. Offers that appear 'too good to be true' are often scams designed to lure you into providing information or payment.

Insist on a Formal Contract

Always secure and review a formal, written job offer or employment contract before starting work or sharing final personal details. Ensure it clearly defines your role, compensation, key terms, and conditions to avoid misunderstandings or scams.
