Nova 401(k) Associates provides consulting and pension administration services for all types of qualified retirement plans including: 401(k), Profit Sharing, Cross-Tested, and Defined Benefit (including Cash Balance) Plans. We are headquartered in Houston, Texas and have another office in Scottsdale, AZ.
This is a great position for an individual who is ready to plan, direct, and coordinate training and development activities for the organization. The person in this role is responsible for identifying training needs and for designing and implementing training programs and evaluating their effectiveness. The responsibilities include creating and selecting training materials, delivering training, and providing ongoing support to employees.
- Conduct annual training and development
- Develop training and development programs and objectives
- Train and coach managers, supervisors, and others involved in employee development efforts
- Oversee the use of technology in training, such as e-learning platforms or virtual reality simulations
- Plan, organize, facilitate, and order supplies for employee development and training events
- Develop and maintain organizational communications such as intranet bulletin boards and newsletters to ensure employees have knowledge of training and development events and resources
- Conduct follow-up studies of all completed training to evaluate and measure results
- Modify programs as needed
- Exemplify the desired culture of the organization
- Work effectively as a team member with other members of management and the HR staff
- Perform other related duties as required
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field
- Five years of experience designing and implementing employee development programs
- Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) credential preferred
- SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong presentation skills
- Adept with a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods
- Ability to evaluate and research training options and alternatives
- Ability to design and implement effective training and development
Compensation and Benefits:
- Base Salary $80,000 - $115,000
- Medical, dental, disability, and life insurance
- Paid time off

Work Location/Hours:
- Work from home
- Must work from USA and be authorized to work for any US employer
- Approximately 3-5 times per year travel to home office, company training, or industry events
- No international travel
- We will supply all necessary computer equipment
- Work hours: 37.5 hours per week
- You may choose a start time between 7:30am and 8:30am in your time zone
