The Role
Consultant helping customers with compliance pain points, transforming challenges into actionable insights for successful renewals/expansions. Spearheaded sales calls, product demos, and negotiate contracts. Collaborate with CSM team for seamless transitions, maintain CRM hygiene, become a platform expert, strategise with CSMs for large accounts, and manage customer expectations through cross-functional engagements. Ensure deliverables' completion.
- Become a consultant to customers converting their compliance pain points to actionable insights, leading to a successful renewal / expansion
- Run sales calls with short deck presentations and detailed product demonstrations
- Execute multi-stakeholder renewal and expansion conversations
- Execute contract and commercial negotiations with customers and bring them to a close
- Work closely with the CSM team to ensure a smooth transition for new customers
- Maintain CRM hygiene and manage deal pipeline to forecast revenues accurately
- Become a product expert across our entire platform and understand our competitor landscape
- Devising strategies with the CSMs to efficiently handle large accounts and engage with marketing teams to improve revenue retention and expansion rates
- Manage customer expectations through cross-functional interactions and ensure that the deliverables are completed
- 2+ years of Sales or Account Management experience, particularly in B2B SaaS markets
- Strong communication and presentation skills - solid writing skills are a must!
- Ability to think on your feet — you’re someone who can figure out creative ways to balance customer experience and revenue maximisation tactfully
- Can break down complicated technical matters and understandably explain them
- Adaptable and comfortable with a fast-paced environment
- Adept at using any CRM – Freshsales, Salesforce, HubSpot, to manage & track pipelines
- Able to engage in a technical conversation with the CTO/Head of Engineering to understand their requirements
- Prior experience selling to the US or a foreign audience is a plus
