We're a U.S.-based tech startup and we're looking for a fast-talking Account Manager for a high-paced role. Your job is to be smart, likable, and detail-oriented.
Your primary responsibilities will include leveraging your marketing background to follow up on leads, closing deals, and ensuring the ongoing satisfaction and retention of our client base. The ideal candidate will possess a combination of account management, marketing, and customer service skills.
This is a fully remote position working from 9am - 6pm EST.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Onboarding: Onboard new clients, setting expectations, reviewing the discussed scope from sales calls, establishing authority, guiding and outlining the project timeline.
Primary Contact: Serve as the main point of contact for clients after they sign on and pay deposits, ensuring clear and consistent communication.
Candidate Presentation: Review and present candidates to clients, highlighting their expertise and suitability for the client’s needs.
Feedback Management: Receive feedback from clients on candidates and relay it to the recruiters to refine the selection process.
Client Communication: Communicate with clients through email, Slack, text, and phone calls, and video calls, ensuring their needs are met promptly and efficiently.
Client Engagement: Regularly check in with clients who have become unresponsive, re-engaging them and addressing any concerns.
Deal Closure: Facilitate the closing of deals by guiding clients through the final stages of the hiring process and ensuring satisfaction with candidate selections.
Lead Client Calls: Lead calls with clients, showcasing expertise, authority, and a fun, engaging personality to build strong rapport and trust.
Interview Blocks: Attend client interview sessions, gather feedback, and provide insights to help clients make informed decisions.
Issue Escalation: Address client questions and escalate issues to the appropriate departments when necessary.
Ownership and Handoffs: Demonstrate extreme ownership over your deals, ensuring smooth transitions and handoffs to stand-in account managers during your absence.
KPI Achievement: Focus on achieving key performance indicators, particularly in getting Master Service Agreements (MSAs) signed.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in account management, preferably in the staffing or digital marketing industry.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain client relationships.
Negotiation skills and the ability to close deals effectively.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
