We are seeking an experienced Deal Desk professional to establish our Deal Desk function from the ground up. As our first Deal Desk hire reporting into the Director, Finance, you will create processes, frameworks, and best practices from scratch in order to optimize deal execution, pricing strategy, and cross-functional collaboration between Sales, Finance, Legal, and RevOps. This role requires a self-starter who enjoys both strategic process-building and hands-on operational execution. You will own and drive all deal desk activities independently as a team of one, with an opportunity to expand the function and influence long-term strategy as the company grows.
About You
- 3+ years in a Deal Desk role, preferably in a high-growth SaaS environment.
- Expertise with Salesforce CRM, Salesforce CPQ, and/or equivalent quoting/pricing tools.
- Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and the capability to handle multiple projects concurrently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven track record of partnering effectively across multiple functions.
- Proven ability to manage complex pricing and approval processes while balancing stakeholder interests.
- Strong understanding of SaaS revenue recognition principles
Outcomes
- Build and implement the deal review and approval processes, ensuring adherence to company policies, pricing guidelines, and approval frameworks.
- Drive timely processing of deals by ensuring alignment and accountability across all key stakeholders (Sales, Finance, Legal, RevOps)
- Responsible for ensuring compliance with contracting and pricing policies, documenting approvals, and managing escalations for non-standard terms.
- Provide operational support to the Sales team by creating sales orders, managing contracts, and ensuring accuracy within Salesforce.
- Continuously refine internal documentation, procedures, and processes to enhance efficiency and scalability.
The expected salary range for this position is $105,000 to $140,000. Actual pay will be determined based on several factors such as past experience and qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
