About the Role
As Roo expands its platform to multiple territories, we are looking to add a fantastic Account Manager to help support and grow a selected number of cities this year and beyond. This position will report to the Manager, Vet Account Managers and will be a vital role in supporting our most important Roo users. It is preferred for someone to be based in California or at the very least on a West Coast time zone.
What You’ll Do
- Provide support for retaining our core vet users on the platform after they have been handed off from the Business Development team
- Assist veterinarians in fulfilling shifts that align with their schedules, preferences and financial goals
- Help to fulfill needed relief shifts through vet network knowledge
- Retain and grow the shift volume of a set group of full time relief vets
- Ensure Top Vet users remain actively engaged & happy with Roo platform
- Manage Veterinarian's general inquiries
- Proactively address any rainy-day scenarios and resolve any user issue or inquiry promptly, working with client support
- Plan and host Dinners with our top-performing Veterinarians
What You’ll Bring
- Expert in fostering relationships, growing your book of business, and retaining clients.
- Strong Sales Experience
- Proficient in analyzing data to make informed and effective decisions.
- Ability to utilize our CRM tools (Hubspot and Zendesk) to track user acquisition progress.
- Proactivity – staying ahead of the curve in day-to-day work.
- Strong communication skills (a written prompt will be part of the interview process).
- Organized, yet able to juggle multiple tasks.
- Ability to work with different teams as well as remote team members.
- Ability to understand business needs and identify ways to grow.
- Experience in startup or high-growth environments preferred
- Knowledge of working with DVMs and veterinary hospitals a plus
- Occasional travel required for conferences and Vet dinners
- Positive, can-do attitude!
While we are a remote first company, if you are based in San Francisco this will be a hybrid role. Please see below for examples of compensation ranges based on state averages.
