Job Description

Our client specializes in manufacturing and supplying advanced instruments for precision measurement and testing. They are seeking a motivated Business Development Representative (BDR) to join their sales team. This role focuses on outbound outreach to targeted prospects using provided contact lists, with the goal of setting qualified appointments that support the company’s growth objectives.

Location:
Fully-Remote (Work from Home), 9 AM - 5 PM EST

Key Responsibilities

  • Outbound Outreach: Proactively engage prospects through cold calling, personalized email sequences, and LinkedIn messaging.

  • Appointment Setting: Qualify leads and schedule appointments (minimum 5 per week) to connect potential clients with the sales team and retrieve data samples from prospects.

  • Lead Management: Use Apollo and Salesforce CRM to track leads, manage pipelines, and maintain accurate communication records.

  • Follow-Up: Conduct timely and professional follow-ups via email and calls to nurture relationships and maximize conversions.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with sales and marketing teams to optimize outreach strategies and improve lead quality.

  • Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on key metrics such as calls made, emails sent, and appointments booked.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of sales or business development experience, preferably in B2B environments.

  • Proficient in Apollo and Salesforce CRM platforms for lead and pipeline management.

  • Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Positive, self-motivated, results-driven mindset with a strong work ethic.

  • Comfortable using sales engagement tools and adapting quickly to new technologies.

What Success Looks Like

  • Consistently executing daily outbound outreach with high engagement across calls, emails, and LinkedIn.

  • Setting a minimum of 5 qualified appointments weekly that advance the sales pipeline.

  • Maintaining up-to-date, accurate records in Apollo and Salesforce.

  • Effectively following up to convert warm leads into meetings.

  • Meeting or exceeding monthly appointment-setting and pipeline-building targets.
