SUMMARY
We are looking for a Director of Sales Compensation to lead our Global Sales Incentive Compensation function. This role is a unique opportunity to shape sales incentive strategy across a high-growth, global organization – aligning sales performance with business outcomes, driving revenue growth, and motivating top-tier talent across our go-to-market organization.
As a senior leader of this team, you’ll own the full lifecycle of sales compensation design, implementation, and execution – partnering cross-functionally with senior leadership to ensure our programs scale with the business, attract and retain talent, and drive growth.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Own global sales compensation strategy, design, and execution – ensuring all plans are aligned with business goals, drive results, and reward top performance.
- Partner with senior executives and business leaders (Sales, Finance, HR, Legal) to understand business needs and design compensation solutions that drive revenue, customer growth, retention, adoption, and margin.
- Lead and develop a high-performing team to operationalize compensation plans, ensure accuracy of payment execution, and support continuous improvement.
- Build and refine financial models, scenario analyses, and dashboards to analyze plan performance and support strategic decision-making.
- Partner on quota-setting processes, performance tracking, compensation governance, and plan communication across all global sales functions.
- Drive the annual sales compensation planning cycle, ensuring smooth rollout of new plans, stakeholder alignment, and clear enablement.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, partnering with internal stakeholders across Legal, Finance and HR to mitigate risk and enforce policies.
- Establish and mature compensation-related policies, frameworks, and operational processes as we scale globally.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- Proven leadership experience in sales compensation strategy, design, implementation and administration – ideally in a fast-paced, global, high-growth environment
- A demonstrated ability to connect compensation strategy to business objectives – with an eye toward simplicity, motivation, and scalability.
- Executive presence and stakeholder management skills; you’ve partnered with cross-functional stakeholders across teams and geographies and are comfortable advising and influencing senior leaders.
- Deep experience with financial modeling, analytics, quota design, and performance management.
- Strong project management and change management skills; able to lead cross-functional initiatives and deliver results under tight timelines.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into actionable guidance for a broad range of audiences.
- Experience managing and developing teams; a collaborative leader who builds trust and elevates others.

Verify Employer Thoroughly
Research the company's identity thoroughly before applying. Check for a professional website with contacts, active social media, and LinkedIn profiles. Verify details across platforms and look for reviews on Glassdoor or Trustpilot to confirm legitimacy.
Never Pay to Get a Job
Legitimate employers never require payment for applications, training, background checks, or equipment. Always reject upfront payment requests or demands for bank details, even if they claim it's for purchasing necessary work gear on your behalf.
Safeguard Your Personal Information
Protect sensitive data like SSN, bank details, or ID copies. Share this only after accepting a formal, written job offer. Ensure it's submitted via a secure company system or portal, never through insecure channels like standard email attachments.
Scrutinize Communication & Interviews
Watch for communication red flags: poor grammar, generic emails (@gmail), vague details, or undue pressure. Be highly suspicious of interviews held only via text or chat apps; legitimate companies typically use video or phone calls.
Beware of Unrealistic Offers
If an offer's salary or benefits seem unrealistically high for the work involved, be cautious. Research standard pay for similar roles. Offers that appear 'too good to be true' are often scams designed to lure you into providing information or payment.
Insist on a Formal Contract
Always secure and review a formal, written job offer or employment contract before starting work or sharing final personal details. Ensure it clearly defines your role, compensation, key terms, and conditions to avoid misunderstandings or scams.
